I firmly believe that demon are a really powerful race
You just have to know how to play them.
At the beginning your imps destroy mana and thus Necs, Wizards and DE will have a hard time. Your demons are gonna be really dangerous for they become enraged for every stack that dies (preferably 1'er stacks imps). Aditionally they can all gate.
When you get wolfhounds at lvl 3 you have a fast dmg dealing unit. They have low hp and low defense. You should always try to attack first. This is only a problem against DE rogues.
From lvl 5 on you should buy a potion of oblivion, lose all your prim's and put them in knowledge and SP and become a wizard. Your spawns will suck your enemies mana and give it to you. |

And then on lvl 7 and specially 8 you should move all points into attack
and become demon - fighter

yeah immediately change ur faction to elf. lol.
in level 5 its almost impossible to beat elf by demon. |
