Authorknights 5 lvl
why did knights become so stong??? now they have 10 griffs on 5 lvl when i have only 7 ogres???

Also 7 ogres is 350 HP, 10 griffins is only 300.

It's not about whom you play. It's about how you play.
Not a big problem to take 5 lvl Knight off with 5 lvl Dark Elf. Arctic's Knight tactic though would not be that easy to cope with...

11 Probably because there was a lot of testing since last year, and they came up with what they call "Ultimate balance".
This "Ultimate balance" thing needs perks i.e. secondary abilities, which have already been introduced at the Russian server. Right now, they are being tested on the subject of availability (to say simpler, cost). As soon as that test is over, they will be introduced here (as a final version, not the beta), and you will enjoy a lot of new features which will diversify your tactics a lot.

PS A 5 lvl dark elf can _extinguish_ a 5th lvl Knight, if certain circumstances are on his/her side. I can describe you exactly the way it is done, probably better in private mail.

PPS Wow, didn't know someone actually finds my tactics smart ^_^

I actually haven't seen the perk, that could make some balancing on 5th lvl...

My first and only duel with knight[5] I lost, so it would be great if you show me the way it could be done)
(reference to battle would be better)

1)Leave your rogues in the castle, take minotaurs.
2)Build assasins
3)Wear full-magic set for 5th level, making your SP 7 or 8... All stats sent to knowledge and spell power.

Build and take assassins to your army as much as you can, tha take Lizards riders and the minotaurs
Sent one stat to Knowledge so you will have 20mana all other stats sent to spell power. And buy full-magic set.
15 well, seems like they told it all =) The perk you need is obviously the one that enhances your Chaos spells. There is no way you're going to deal with a Knight by a Dark elf-warrior. Mage is your decision. And the best way to keep your caster "working" is recruiting Maximum minotaurs ;)

PS: If the Knight is stupid enough, he will send the griffins off, and the Lixard Rider's charge for 5 or 6 tiles will destroy them (Defense 0).

Easier said, than done!

1) Upgrage bandits > poisoners: 25430 gold.
2) Full-magic set avalable on 5th lvl (Wizard cap, Cape of spirits, Combat staff): 17617 gold.
3) The way to get 7 SP is to leave knowedge 2, buy full-magic set and activate Hall of Intrigue. For a long battle, with max minos, I think 3 knowedge wold be preferable (spikes can be also useful sometimes).

Of course, all you have disribed is workable, but, at least, try to be realistic. OK?

Administration has said that if you want to get real balance, you should wear full-artifact and have all pssible upgrades.

If you don't earn enough money - it's your personal problem
