is teh event over?
damn i wanted to play more but didnt have time. |
btw i think the pay is really good?
I just did 13 battles and got paid 5300 gold. Thats like 4k per battle reward wow. |
for virtual_vitrea:
please redo your maths |
How could you know marcus? |
for 180 & 184,
login heroeswm.ru you can see the results before translation |
lmao @182 and 183 |
I just got 51k gold for doing 108 battles. Not really worth it |
yea reward-wise this is definitely unfair for higher levels. Unless your heavy ocean shield or whatever its called fetches a good price at the market. |
higher level get higher gold than low level with equal silver |
not that much higher, i got 44k gold for 108 battles. barbmaster's cost per battle is much higher than mine I'd wager. |
my cost/ battle is ~1300
i got 66k
66k/108=611/battle
so i lost 689/battle and 74412 total, if shield sells for 74k i break even |
Any idea if this was last event for dark shield? |
for Marco Reus:
Did you not get 10-dura artifacts and a few diamonds in your event battles as well? Not to mention all armaments and TG points. I guess it’s possible to estimate the average cost to gain 100 TG points at your CL and it sure ain’t free. If you include everything in your calculation I’m sure that you’ll find the event profitable. |
Still cant see other event battles:( |
For me when I evaluate an event I am not worried if it is profitable, rather if it is sustainable. As such i can simplify my calculations.
If at the end of the event I have similar or more gold than when I started, then it is sustainable. Obviously this is then including enrols during this period, though I think this is part of the overall break even. If all battles were break even, then enrols give an inflationary aspect that would become significant.
I only do this since there is nothing significant left that I am worried about buying, so do not really need gold as much as once was the case. |
for Viod:
There should be another one, if it followers the same pattern. |
Results table is up. Mostly populated by either very high levels (22/23) or reasonably low (8-11)
Extra Kudos therefore to those who managed the top 100 outside of those ranges, particularly Lord Ragnaros, Krovak and Z_J_CD. Grats |
Was it any surprise to see Lord ragnaros in top 100 :D he is there in every event |
For me when I evaluate an event I am not worried if it is profitable
Why not play it for fun, like a game is supposed to be played ? |
for Uncle Psycho:
In what way does that imply that I do not?
The presence of worry would have a negative impact on any fun. The absence of worry would cause no impediment to it.
Everyone has to keep an eye on their wealth, it is after all got money in the title of the game, not exactly a surprise. The sustainability can come from donations, or from prudent selection of participation and artifact use. I just make sure that whatever I do for fun in this game, I can sustain for an indefinite period without donations. |
