Because the way i see it, there's hardly a point for stronger units because the leadership cost increases proportionally therefore you can only employ a tiny stack for battle. On the other hand, a weaker unit will have a consequently lower leadership cost and you can recruit bigger stack.
To be honest, it all depends on the unit and not just its rarity. For example:
Nixes are uncommon, one costs 1083
Cavalry are Rare, one costs 1315. But I believe a cavalry is a lot better than nix.
Uncommon Spiders are 88, Rare Infiltrators are 58.
Also, the rarer the unit, the cheaper it is to ressurect it.
I believe if you get good units, even from higher rarities, you have more options. |

Why wasn't there an official announcement for this event?
I haven't had much time to play these past couple weeks so I just looked at the front page when I had a minute, looking for any such event I'd want to squeeze in.
No log in, no see smugglers. Now I only have 2 days to do all these battles -- IF I can find the time for it. What happened to the old formula, where you have 3 extra days to finish any fights that rolled over?

| Well if you don't have time to do each difficulty twice, you can always just do the event for progression sake. There are decent rewards for just completing each level. If you find the time, doing each battle for every difficulty can give great FSP rewards |
| difficulty jumps up quite a bit on the last battle, lost to 2 elves before winning a red knight, even then finished the boss by defending with last units and nibbling with hero hits |

| So nice event , 50 TG points , 1.3m exp , around 40-50k gold , 4 diamonds , and crap louds LG creatures , plus sword parts , plus some more creatures and sword parts for each clan , and the best thing battles was really fast ! More events like this . |

I feel like this is just a bit of a flimsy excuse from you tbh... you're a veteran and you know admins don't always give us announcements (let alone timely ones). And if there is an event going on, the best place to check are the forums, not the front page. |

There is no reason why we shouldn't, but it's just the case we don't, admins for whatever reason don't always implement the translations the ICC have passed onto them.
If you don't get something but you know you can easily find the information 1 click later, then not clicking there I find just to be confusing. |
A few good indications:
-easily enroll in production facilities
-arts are out of stock
-when pressing the battles page, it has an extra red section for the event
Still, announcements would be nice :) |
