I just defeated Demon as DE.
Ughhh, I saw that battle. That demon didn't have anything that at least remotely resembles a thing called strategy.... and I was very polite.
In fact if you're facing something that shoots or has more speed&ini than your ladons, only extreme luck (lots of morale bursting, opponent's abilities not triggering) can save you. Well, unless the opponent does everything in his/her power to avoid victory. |
Well, some considerations:
-putting the same number of creatures is strongly unfair. 12 clerics and 12 monks are definitely not like 12 hydras and 12 ladons.
-the tournament will be a rush between dark elves and demons, unless someone will not find only the others races.
It's funny, if you take it only as a free sp depot and a font of amusement. But tactic is an other thing :) |

thats part of why there doing this tournament, to decide how much of ea stack to put in, at least thats what i think |
I doubt there will be much rebalancing here, actually.
I think it is just because much of the new updates were for only the very high level / very rich players, so this is a cheap way of letting everybody play with them for a bit. |

Hmm, why is the leveling capped during the tournament? I mean, it's not like it makes any difference. Was hoping to do a couple quick battles to level up in the hopes of having a bit easier time in thieving (the new grid is killing me - yeah, I'm a DE).
Ah well, guess I just gotta rush through the battles and get back to my thieving then.. |
