Yeah, to bad for those darkness spells, i use dark to fight some ranged units, and just starting to like :(.
Hi everyone,
I'm lv 7 knight, I have already try doing TG lv1-2 with defensive might build, i'm interesting in magic knight build.
I wanna to ask are magic knight build viable for Thiefing?
Please tell me your experience with magic knight build..

From what im reading, i make a conclusion "better start magic build at lv.8++ because of magic guild lv.2" is that right? CMIIW

Is magic build good for Thiefing? or i must choose the might path for the better result?

Well, if you want to boost your xbows damage on a short while (1-2 turns) it worth to bless them (even without holy talent). Also you can curse a large, wide dmg stack (devil, giant, hell horse etc.) or add some defence (stoneskin some targeted stack). It's good to rely on something useful especially at the end of the battle.

Why lv.10 is better then lv.8 magic build?

i always consider that magic knight sp4 mp4 is the best way for knight
after you get level 8,magic knight is strong in hunting but fails in group
battle.however most of player get exp from quest and hunt.
to 1411:

lv10 can use expert holy magic talent
and lv10 can use more powerful holy magic
such as Evasion, Chastise

with exper holy magic talent
bless can up to to max damage eveytime you attack
stoneskin can +12def
Chastise can +12attk
Evasion can reduce 70% of archer's damage

namely,you can easily strike enemy with youe string magic power

Why people saying magic knight fails in for gb?
If we use stoneskin and chastise, we can get many defend and attack stats just with invest a few point into sp and kn. Or maybe the right time using confusion can turn the tide?

Do you think that magic knight can become more popular with the comming update, because our defensive talent will be nerve?
lv10 can use expert holy magic talent

dear, you only need 21 points to get expert holy; you can have that much points since lv8. at the same time, you can get xbow at lv8, your magic show the strength since lv8.

using diamond to get xbow at lv7 doesnt make sense from certain extend. although you still can get adv holy to work for you, but the dmg gap still a problem.

dont tell me that we will waste the extra 4 points at lv8 for expert holy. unless you so crazy other talent, else it wasnt a good excuse to lecture other should start magic before lv10
After reading that i get the point now, when we reach lv.8 we can have expert magic talent and the difference with lv.10 just the magic lv.3, thanks to Pang.

I just try magic build 2SP 2KN lv.7, i found that advance darkness is more useful than advance holy because the knight units dmg gap are very close to maximize bless potential and our initiative is too slow to maximize rapid.

I feel more easier doing quest with magic build, especially monster quest. Knight FTW!!!
going magic path is definitely a different, or unfamiliar, way
it means we will have to invest more on magic talents, sp and knowledge.
on the other hand, we will have less for leadership, offense, defense and attack

obviously, our heroes will have to cast spell instead of attack or escort.
right now i can be sure that we will have to fight harder against demon heroes with their imps

You are right, its more difficult when we face that imp/spawn with magic build especially at hunt, but beside that i feel its more easy to finish my MG and HG battle with magic build.
Maybe that less attack and defense can be sacrifice for some buff or debuff spell, for example : we can just cast weakness to the strongest enemy stack to reduce attack -12 to compensate our less defense sacrifice.

Thats only 2 race can counter darkness magic, its knight and elf.
Thats 4 race can counter holy magic, its knights, necro, DE, demon.
With the coming update, they maybe need the same amount of SP and magic talent to counter that holy and darkness magic. Thats my opinion.

Also i want try to familiarize and learn magic knight build, i think its very fun cause there are many variation we can try as a knight.

there's another big difference between lvl 8 & 10. lvl 10 could have expert holy + rally. if your faction level is high enough, rally recruites much more xbow, which means higher damage and xbow surviving longer.

at lvl 10, sp should be at least 3 point, because you need to cast bless, rapid, chastise, three spells on xbow.

don't worry too much about the imps from demon lords. if you have 30 or 40 mana, you could easily spare 10 mana to them.

I see, when reach lv.10 i will use 3KN and 3SP even without magic talent, i think it will great and very helpfull.

Is there any good knight clan? How can we join a clan?
