Intentions are very subjective. It is quite possible that The One Ring holds contempt. He might be baiting.
How do we determine intent? I spend a few minutes at least on every post. My posts are a mixture of sarcasm, humor, digs, similies, explanations, etc..
Maybe it is best to check with the player first before deleting. It will be less demeaning. Calling people stupid is very harsh. How is that determination made? Does it relate to IQ?
I feel for the 3 commenters above. Their posts were deleted, one of them justified, then his intent asked and then he be told that he will not be banned, he can carry on. The original posts are deleted. If deleting a post is a non-reversible decision, then is it not better that more thought put into this? And maybe using words like 'stupid' can be avoided. |
