For the right enemy, I don't even need to take hellfire.
Just expert chaos + expert sorcery + concealed knowledge + fickle mana.
The extra stats are really helpful for a mage build, especially when you're defending.
I'd have the strength of a wiz, but as a Demon. Don't know if that's good or bad. |

I literally knew on the first turn (of the barb) that I would win! He would attack the wiz, I would protect the wiz.
I was stronger, so I'd win that fight.
Then I'd keep the wiz alive, (who knew he had to support me to survive).
I become untouchable for the rest of the fight. I get to choose who dies in which order xD. Basically who ever has impressed me the least.

| That's why you never first-strike a wiz. If someone melee can save him, then the two of them can guarantee 1st and 2nd place, unless you get everybody else to cooperate with you. |

This was a very fun game too.
I basically had no friends. Only got lucky that the barb decided to ignore me because he didn't think I stood a chance.
Both the wiz and the barb clearly underestimated the strength of 300 trappers. |
| Nice battles, EOFO is a bit like the board game risk. Everyone knows you are going to cross them and stab them in the back at some point, just how long can you keep that alliance going, and when can you turn. I guess some people are learning that if you leave a tribal for too long, they will never leave you till you are gone yourself. |

Was just looking through the top player stats (ostensibly to check what the current split was between factions) and noticed that this old player is still in the top 100

Time is a funny thing. I've been playing this game on and off now for 1 year longer than my marriage, and 3 years more than my eldest child and more than a third of my life. Though since I'm older than you, as a percentage of your life you've probably got it worse than me!
