Oh no! :( | haha i just realised i got 1337 :) | | money is used to buy things! :) | Market
The market is a trade site where one can buy or trade nearly any item at maximum profit. A link to the market is available at the Character page, under the Artifact shop link.
[Market]
Currently, the trade operations at the market count three types:
Ordinary auction. It is an auction where the creator places a lot to sell an item. The character with the highest bid at the moment when the auction expires is considered the winner of the lot. The buyer can take part in auctions, increasing bids gradually or setting his or her highest bid right away. In the latter case, the program will effectuate gradual bids instead of the buyer, even if he or she goes offline, but won't bid higher than the preset maximal bid.
Buyout auction. It is an auction where the creator places a lot to sell an item. The winner of the lot is the character with the highest bid at the moment of auction expiration, or the first buyer to agree to the buyout price. In the latter case, the auction is ended immediately. The buyer can take part in auctions, increasing bids gradually or setting his or her highest bid right away. In the latter case, the program will effectuate gradual bids instead of the Buyer, even if he or she goes offline, but won't bid higher than the preset maximal bid.
Direct sale. The creator determines a price where bargaining is impossible. If the buyer agrees to the price preset by the creator, the item is immediately sold.
The items placed and the bids of gold are withdrawn from the characters and kept at the marketplace for the time of auctions. Beaten bids return to the participants in full. Any Empire inhabitant of combat level 3 or higher can participate.
Only a lord who possesses the Marketplace construction in his or her castle, can become an Author of an Auction. The maximum amount of active lots is limited to 3. The limit is temporary, being a parameter that can be improved as the game develops.
The creator sets the duration of his or her auctions, from 30 minutes to 3 days. Primary resources and artifacts, elements and skeletons, thief invitations and potions, everything can be traded. A lot can contain multiple items of one kind. In such lots, there are only two options: to sell items one by one (Direct sale only), or all at once.
Created lot cannot be canceled.
The Author cannot take part in Auctions he or she created.
The minimal pace between bids is 1% from current price, but not less than 3 gold pieces.
In case of successful Auctions, a 1% commission is withdrawn from the Author.
All the tradesmen at the market are requested to grant attention to their lots while creating them. When placing more than one item in a lot, make sure you check on whether the price is for every single item, or for all at once.
Note that the buyout price is the maximal price for your lot, not the minimal one. If you do not wish to sell an item lower than any particular sum, set this sum as your starting bid. If you do not wish to begin a buyout auction, but an ordinary one, leave the "Buyout price" field unfilled.
