Since most of you here are so 'helpfull', most if not all are checking the russian forum instead. Never been there once. I rely on clan chat, which is kinda the point of being in a clan.
And well, that's the truth about the timing. Unless you expect me to believe that russians collectively decided to stay awake the night for that particular day for whatever reason, whatever you found on those forums in an exagerrated mess. |
And I know that atleast most people in my clan were asleep at night, because the amount of activity before whatevre change happened was nothing compared to the activity afterwards. |
Finally beat level 51 without temptress, only took 11 attempts....... |
I saw a guy do it with just rebels and mountain sentries and damnn. |
Yeah, I went for just shielded meat in the end. Did the trick. |
gg |
Finally done with this event, guess I had around 30-40k loss. Troop with spells and special abilities were quite useful especially disruption ray, hope I get one soon. |
I saw a lot of people using leprechauns on the tower, which got me thinking, can priests cast evasion on the towers?
That would be pretty OP, considering how cheap priests are. |
done too 60 / 105, not the best, but all done.
Copying other builds definitely more effective. Trying out your own combos is more fun though :) |
for The One Ring:

I gave it a try with the priests and NO, they can't cast evasion on towers :( |
I saw nomads and forest hobbits having armaments, it's strange. Maybe non-faction creatures gona get them in future. |
Completed level: 60
Victories / Combats: 60 / 97
Clan points: 1,830
Copied strategies, but made my own builds for these strategies.
1-40 lost some gold, but 40-60 made 68k profit. Very happy with the event.
I especially love how unorthodox your strategies need to be to pass this. Past events, as well as leg battles and tourneys are all about who has the strongest hp and damage per leadership, but here, its the abilities that mattered. Utilizing Vermin siphon paired with disruption rays (that allowed towers to shred), as well as magis, and my favourite, Temptresses on Tengu made the battles very exciting! |

LeG 5 finished event ;)
Yes, it was very satisfying to make own strategy (and have them get copied on masse) for most battles :D
Even if it did come at the cost of a lot more losses. |
for The One Ring:
I think the main factor was what troops you had and the best build/strategy you could come up with them with those. LeG level affects a little I guess but doesn't really matter since you can buy higher levels anyway.
But without decent troops (that player has good buffs), it's hard after a point to proceed. |
60/150 am so sick and tired of the admins and their shaking gold tacktiks and 175 diamond rippoff epic creature deal the hell with this game |
the hell with this game
said exact same words and stop logging in about 6 months. Lets admit it. We are addicted to this (assume some strong word here) game :p |
We all got things we dont like about this game. Like LeG |
Not Guna lie, this event was actually profitable for me |
It is also very nice with an event where players of different combat levels can discuss and share tactics. Despite the strange correction of ai during the event I find this event one of the best so far. Too bad you couldn't replay waves for fun. Some strategies were never tested. |
I keep thinking of 2 stacks of demiliches + vermins combo against mage :D
Mage shoots down one, other stack of demiliches raises back. Vermins keep giving them mana. Would be so coooool.
Too bad I don't have demiliches or the opportunity to try it out. |
