same here
Just waiting for army to recover to do my last fight and thought I would evaluate the event in terms of character development (was mostly doing it for farming)

assuming I win my next one since lost the last it is a reasonable assumption, then overall my stats will be

Won 53, lost 19

This will give approx (53x4) + (19x2) = 250FSP
72x6000 exp = 432000 which gives a ratio of 1728 exp/FSP not too shabby really

My cost per battle in cheap full arts was 1100 = 1100X72 = 79200
Gold return - assuming 50XCL for each win = 53x50x15 = 39750
IF I sell Ax = 5000
IF I sell charm = 9200
Total gold I could get back = 53950
Therefore cost was 79200-53950 = 25250

this is therefore about 100 gold invested for each FSP in return a reasonable investment. Whether the time and enjoyment were quite so well returned is another matter and more subjective. However I think a good investment in arts for a better charcter.

That evaluation would be more meaningful if you could tell us how easy (in terms of effort, time and skill) was it to get that 53-19 score based on your own understanding so far. Basically, where does the score stand in terms of difficulty? And how likely is it to make that score with 1100 gold battle set at your level.
For me overall i understood that say out of 72 i lost 20 battles
out of the 20 battles i lost about 12-13 battles as clean sweep losses. Even if i had the costliest art on me i would have lost it anyways
Remaining 7-8 battles i lost because of my own lack of experience and skills and a few mistakes here and there....otherwise the win/loss ratio would have been different

Now out of the 52 wins.....i won about 20 battles again as clean sweep. Even if i had minimum AP i would have won (just a tiny bit of exaggeration here :p)
Out of the remaining 32 battles, say about 20 were a bit skill testing ones. So cheap arts would have had done the deal.
Now for the remaining 12 battles, i would say i had a strong upper-hand only because of the arts i had on.

So my take on the event was.......it is better to have 2 sets of arts. One cheap and one costly
Because the difficulty has a sort of a pattern. The more consistently you win, the more consistently the battles get difficult
I deliberately tried to avoid any aspects that were too subjective, and I think answering this how easy (in terms of effort, time and skill) was it to get that 53-19 score based on your own understanding so far then requires a judgement on my own skill compared to some imaginary base level which is hard to judge.

What I will say is that like Hozz said, there are some marginal ones that I could have won in different situations. For example in my last loss a large stack got close to my towers which were about to shoot, it got morale and went ahead of them, then got morale again and got the remaining one. This battle could have gone another way based on either just luck on what procs in the battle, or if I was wearing better arts, or if I was FL 11/12 in my main. All of which would have meant earlier through the battle I would have dealt more damage and received less.

How much more of them I would hate to try and judge, my gut instinct would be perhaps an extra 5. However, I was hoping that though looking at how other people did would give a more objective view of what a BW win rate could have been.

For example it is likely that if I had used DoF (which I would have been able to cast before my towers shot), would have significantly improved their damage output and may have been a better tactic. However, that build is less compatible with a cheap art set and would involve fiddling around builds in between fights and adding time, and I couldn;t be bothered with that.

Out of these 12 defeats, I lost 9 against wizards ( I am wizard too ).
I don't know why I kept getting wizards most of the time, on the other hand any other faction was doable.
Just curious, by wizzard you mean chaos casters, right?
I thought that were not wizzards at all in this event, i dont get a single one in my 72 battles.
I did not get a single chaos caster either.

My nemesis was pure might attack build barbarian, they had enough archers that they could one shot any stack I had at range, and I could not kill enough of them before they killed my shooters. I only worked out later that to have a hope I had to just advance straight away anyway, rarely would they get to hit anything except as retal but it meant they left my towers a bit longer to do the killing. I would then hope that any melee troops get killed before they get to my towers.

BW might only (no hero spells).
I didn't use full arts, but instead some arts I have from lower level.
Around half my lost were because of bad tactics (wrong troop setting, not splitting genie and wrong improvement on towers).

I started to win more once I split my genie, took double shot for first tower and paid more attention in troop setting to: enemy talents (Tactics, Innate Swiftness) and which faction have dragon with speed 9.
This even while using some lower level arts including some I got from the event itself.
Final results for me:
Population: 1,384
Resources: 131
Victories / Combats: 40 / 56
Win rate 71.4%.

I've decided to stop after obtaining the charm. Some battles were piece of cake while others were impossible to win. Generally, it was quite costly in terms of gold.

Started playing with magic build until it was futile. Changed to might build which turn out to be much better. It was amazing to see my gargoyles deal sustainable amount of damage.

I think that in future event, we should create a post with tips to other players.
Your result:

Stop here
I did not get a single chaos caster either
I also didn't encounter even one wizard or chaos caster (DE, etc.) except for Charmer.

What I did notice is that if some faction appear first after a lot of battle it start quite easy, so enemy size might have a faction component (but not each faction for itself like in TG)
Just curious, by wizzard you mean chaos casters, right?

Not chaos, might classic wizard and might BW wizard.

excellent analysis. btw does we will get another arts for reward other than axe and charm ?

lol how greedy are you :p
9) For the victory you can get artifacts of creatures, artifacts from the store, and at the end of the defenses - also gold;

Thats all we get.

In general you get average arts and some gold on events like this where there is dynamic balancing.

This is generally the case on events where you choose the difficulty.

On other events like the pirates or PoT where you can choose the difficulty you tend to get an in battle gold reward for a win, and then a good artifact at the end
We got a dragonstone at the end of last time's event, so we may get something at the end of this too.

Fair point, I Forgot about that. Fingers crossed then!
so we had sandglass, rune stone and dragon stone?
