| maybe they will reintroduce the tiger versus ox thing for chinese new year? XD | Patience and a curious mind has allowed me to read back on this thread from where I left off since my post.
In my view (albeit a modest one), its do or die for this server. Its like a stack of dominoes falling one by one.
If cheaters are not curbed, people get annoyed and are more influenced to leave.
If there are no changes to structure of battles, warrior-minded players will get bored and play less, which will cause them to invest lesser time (and money, for diamond users) in the game.
If the economical structure of both market and facilities isnt observed and updated with the changes of the players, then an economy collapse will wipe out many other guilds due to lack of gold to buy arts, which leads to a workaholic penalty.
Speaking of the workaholic penalty, IMHO (thats "In my HONESY opinion" for those who dont know) that 'update' is the worst of the lot since I started playing this game way back in Oct 2008. Implementing that has brought no amount of good to the community. For any matured mind, the penalty can be seen as a stimulant for those casual labourers to get involved in battles and not just sit back and collect gold. But look at what happens now: The same casual labourers are just playing one hunt every 10 enrolments to ward off the penalty - the system has failed.
Christmas event? Tiger 2010? Enchants rule? Sound effects?
Pardon me, but I fear those are just complementary implementations for making the game 'look' good and just to show that there are 'changes'. Whether the 'changes' are worth the many months of inactivity, thats for every player to decide on themselves.
As for me, I'm still here arent I? Its patience. But even that can run out.
I THANK the Admins, especially Arctic, for giving us what we have now. But we all know what our needs are.
The solution? Admins have to heed our discussions and worries. No other reasonable action. Hear us out, or hear us walking away eventually. | sorry, a typo on paragraph 4, line 1:

But, there was time when I feel dissapointed and sad for missing just 1 enrollment in a day (imagine that).
Odd enough, now I don't really care if I miss 3-5 enrolls / day. Am I burnt out for playing this game and feel bored? I am not sure. But I realize that I play less and less nowadays. | | There will be some presents for the chinese new year ... :) maybe we can fight some BARONGSAI .. FireBall-DRAGONS, etc ... :) | The last event and announcement is just about NEW YEAR.
and I don`t think there will be something about Valentines day... :( | we will get better heart for hp regeneration ;)
ehhh why ru gets all and we, who love this game too, got nothing, pure game without any events fun, i still remember the dragons...now that was an event!and then? after? nothing special | My sentiments are identical to many of those already expressed here. I was greatly motivated during the grand update by all the promised changes. I was excited to see so much activity and though I didn't like the workaholic penalty, I ultimately accepted it and learned to get used to it.
Now, as the months have drawn on without the dwarf war and without clan wars, I find my enthusiasm waning. I still enjoy the game, I still play daily, but the enjoyment seems to diminish a little with each passing day. The feeling that I'm spending time on a game with a questionable future is always there, nagging in the back of my mind.
As has already been expressed, I'm deeply grateful for what Artic has given us. He has built a great thing, however I'm starting to feel that he is in much the same boat as the rest of us... he would love to see this server grow, but without support from Alexander and Maxim, he can do little but sit and watch as his creation slowly withers on the vine.
As long as I continue to derive some enjoyment, I will continue to spend time here. However, I can see the time coming when the enjoyment may no longer be worth the time spent, and most certainly would not be worth the investment of real dollars. | Yes at this point there are no reason to spend real money in this server... dont see the reason to do it....
So no money - no improvement... (but first need to bring improvements and then wait for money to com in...)
Also i had so many suggestions how to increase money flow in game but noone will introduce them in to the game... :( | they cant ignore us, they should use some of our ideas, thats why there is such a category on forum
we cant contact anybody who have the power and this is bad | They absolutely can ignore us... it also seems they can ignore Arctic and that's the truly scary thing. If the admins are able to ignore him, and his pleas fall on deaf ears, as has been reported, then what are our chances of actually getting improvements from our cries for help?
I really hate to sound defeatist, but the situation does indeed seem rather grim. I honestly do hope that my lack of optimism is proven wrong. | in online games there is little "boom" on this kinda games, but they are much worse than LORDSWM, if someone is advertising, and getting rly much ppl in them, then there is only one big answer for all questions.....THIS GAME STILL HAVE GREAT FUTURE, but there need to be done some things...then we will see how it grows in power, and everybody will have fun.
ADMINS dont ya wanna ride Ford Mustang from 1968? or new dogde viper or Porsche? just go to sleep this night and think about the power of .com the power of whole world ;) when You wake up then the sun will shine and porsche will be waiting for ya :) | | ye but where is it going? and i think many high lvl players are still donating, to get cash to change faction or buy some weapons or enchanting, its not like he got 14lvl and he will not donate anymore...
they promised war clans, dwarvs war and where is it? im hell sure it would give them cash because of better units weapons and more, and im sure ppl will be happy, they would have choice to do hunt, merc, clan war, tournament, ambush, pvp or some event, server will get alive once more
i hope i will play still this game when the number of online players will be 10k, yeah it would be like big cake for me, but words like "soon" "be patience" "when we have some time"

I know Arctic is annoyed for sure too, and if he only got the power, then .ru server will whine like most of us. But he doesnt have the power, and yes we whine but we have a reason
People who realy love this game, and there is rly many of Us, rly cant wait for event, Im so sure there is not even one who isnt jealous about .ru....YES IM JEALOUS, but i wont change server to .ru cause here are my friends, here are good players and here i got my account which im playing almost 2 years | | 2) Lack of updates/special events. Even games where you plant seeds or pet a kitty get more events XD
heheh good one ^^ | I wait for events like everyone else, but this is 100% irrelevant to donations. Do you think many people will suddenly purchase diamonds if a new Tournament is set? If Talent point cost changes? If a new batch of artifacts reaches the store?
I would respectfully disagree with this. I think that new events, especially the dwarf war or similar major events, would definitely drive greater diamond donations. In my particular case, if I have hit Lvl 11 when/if the war hits, I would probably be likely to buy diamonds for the upgrade to Vampire Counts for use in the war. I would also imagine that people will be burning through artifacts quite regularly and will need an increased supply of cash to cover repair/replacement costs. Use of diamonds would seem likely in this case as well. But, again in my case, if I am feeling that the long term viability of the server is questionable I would at the least have 2nd thoughts about buying those diamonds.
I know these situations are just my perspective and perhaps that's just me. It certainly wouldn't be the first time I was the odd man out ;-) | | | so many lags today... my spider sense is tingling | | heh, hope are making us crazy, we always think that it can bring us some updates or events ^^ kinda way its always a little chance we are right ;) |
