AuthorAll about Knight faction: Stats, Talent, Tactics, Strategy
Hiya fellow knights,

I just got to lvl 10 and got all my buildings built.

I'm think about this Magic guild lvl 3 thingy. To use them magic guild lvl 3 spells, I'll have to sacrifice a lot of talent points as well as parameter points to make them effective/powerful.

As such,

1) What is a good combo of Knowledge and Spell Power for lvl 10, with and without arts?

2) What type of battle(s) (TGs, MQs, hunts etc) would it be more useful to use more magic, talent wheel-wise, rather than say offensive/defensive/morale/luck talents?

Oh, I'm asking coz I as staring at the talent wheel for like forever and can't for the life of me figure a situation where it's better to take them Holy and Dark magic talents, rather than the other sections of the wheel. :p
I am not a knight but I suggest you look at Pang's battles to judge how useful Mass holy spells can be..
Look at Antos (Top Knight), he uses them very effectively too..
Holy magic - good for hunts,MQ(monster) where u have max xbow,or against shooter(mass avoidence is very useful )
I never try Dark magic ,because i found holy better :P

4 each?? Ermm.. you mean allocate 8 parameter points or with talents/arts? You only have 1 each of Kn & SP, my friend... :p

Thanks for the suggestions. I have looked at both, and Antos is not really a good gauge coz he have talent points bleeding outta his veins (!), I don't. :p

Pang is very good with his usage of magic. Learned quite a bit just watching his battles. :)

because I am mighty knight now ,but when holy- 4 knw and 4 sp change with point of oblivion sure:)
just dropping by to say thanks for ideas from the earlier posts.

by the way, if any of you have seen the top players now, Antos is the sole pioneer for all our us. i think its about time for us to have an all pure-knight's clan, where we fight side-by-side with our brethren against the monopoly of other factions (points finger to DEs) not for making enemies, no no. just for the fun of seeing how a clan can work with a single faction. of course, it should have all top knights plus youngsters where we can groom them with tactics and guidance. how's that? just an idea i had =)
oh before i forget, im not excluding MangaBlanco or SONYcz from the top players list, i was just speaking on the top 10 or top 25 players. no offence intended =)
Well, Antos is a great example that knights rock! He has played his entire career as a knight, and is just days (maybe even HOURS) away from reaching the very top - level 14!

He has definitely dispelled the illusion that some have that knights 'sux' at a lot of things. Not true! :p He has a very high winning % in all types of battles... from hunts, to MQs, to PvPs, to the so-called toughest of them all, TGs.

While I pale in comparison to him, I did managed to get to TG4 by lvl 9, while doing most of my TG3 and TG4 at lvl 9, which is supposedly very hard for knights, according to what I read from non-knights in other threads.

I also have to mention SONYcz, another shining example of a 1-faction knight who has done extremely well in all he does. And he's just a little away from faction lvl 9 - another great achievement. Well done! :)

dark spell still work at some hunts even it doesnt really good at most of time.

well, i would say 3 Sp + 3 Kn as starting is good.

with 3 Sp, you have enough turns to cast 3 major spells : bless + rapid + chastise. those are often used and just enough for you to use in hunts. OR, any dark spells combo you prefer to.

once you finish cast the third spells, the next turn of hero will cast the 1st spell you start just now. it is like a chain cast to maintain the situation.

with 3 Kn, it also allow you to cast those 3 spells mentioned above for 2 chains which is just enough for you to finish a hunts.

beside, if you going to mass spell, 3 Kn also enough to cast 3 mass spells for 1 chain. so, it need a good timing on casting 3 mass spells in hunts especially encounter slow creature like farmer, you can just wait 2nd move and start the chain.

3 Kn with expert holy talent can be critical when killing genies in solo. 3 dispersions are just enough to counter 3 random dark cast, especially remove poison.

You can use hat of knowledge and cape of spirits for an extra knowledge and power if you need it.
Dark magic you can test it in some mercenary quests (especially monster), but it's not very efficient (like bless xbows).

um.. evne though im not a knight i have an alt knight. im wondering what type of skill should i mostly have high of? example an elf needs luck,barbs needs morale. so what does the knight need? do they need high defence arts for their swords?

every factions need luck, same go to morale (exclude the nerco) and initiative. in general, these 3 parameters cant be boost without arts or talent.

i wonder what is your question looking on. investment on parameter? or artifacts?

you still not get my point. yes, i know you are asking on parameter. BUT, boosting parameter can be go with hero stats, artifacts or talent.

i assume you are asking on hero stats. this should depend on which path you going to. might or magic?

even might can go with attacker or defender; while magic can go to holy or dark; maybe you can go to hybrid if you are happy with it.

so, you can make some thinking or watch on other knights' combat logs to get some guide before make the move.

although knight get magic guild at lv5; the true power of magic guild will show up once you get magic guild lv2 at lv8. so, you can invest on atk before lv8. get a potion to reset parameters if you are going to change your path.
