Do mods have a gradient of words in which their use is allowed or not. I always judge it by whetjer they can say it on the Simpsons, if they can say it, then it is ok to use.
Some should be ok as have a specific acceptable meaning.

I believe the Simpsons, which is broadcast pre watershed in the UK, has used words such as crap, bitch, bastard, bugger and wait for it fricken.
I do not know if any of these were censured when they were broadcast however. Not that I am really bothered, I very very rarely swear in normal life though am completely unoffended when someone does, it is interesting though. |
