AuthorAll about Knight faction: Stats, Talent, Tactics, Strategy
Hard0wn3r:

That depends on your style of play. Some popular choices are:

Basic Leadership + Rally

Basic Defense + Vitality and

Basic Fortune + Escort.

I chose rally when I was level 6, but any of these choices could work just fine.
for Javi:

Hard0wn3r has never played a single battle as a knight using that character, so don't divulge our knights' 'secrets' to him. :p

I think he just wanna fill that #1000 post on this thread. heh..

j/k, Hard0wn3r. :)
What is the best set of artifacts for a knight at level 6, uses:cost ratio wise.
Here's a useful link for you:

and

when hunting, depending on hunt, go with min ap and min cost/battle using the first link (hand axe + def shield + leather armour)
in pvp, as knight, I guess your best chance is to maximize your defense.
Since you didn't say cheapest min AP arts, you might want to spend slightly more and upgrade the light axe to steel blade. Another low cost upgrade would be adding a medal of bravery, which is 2 AP and thus puts you above the min AP needed for level 6.
okay thanks.
As a lvl 6 knight i use:
1. Steel blade 2AP
2. Defender shield 3AP
3. Leather armor 1AP
for AJackal:
If u prefer price than quality : light of axe, not steel blade .. :)
best combo for 6 AP defender shield + reprisal sword

cost: 34,7+27,02=61,72 gold per battle
use: 2att + 4def.

Also both have same durability durability (40) which is relaxing.

Ligt axe + defender shield + leather armor is cheaper (58,4 gold per battle)but gives only 2att + 3 def
Whats better - monks or crossbows? As a new level 8 knights, its is obvious that griffings and swordsmen are too important to be left out. So I have maxed them both. After that should i max monks or X-bows?

Also what talent build-up is best? fortune + rally, fortune + vitality, escort + rally, escort + vitality or something else I have missed?
for Silverhand:

It depends on what you wanna do really. If you are referring to hunts, I would say most knights at your level ( and probably higher) would decide what troops to use, based on the enemy creatures they are facing.

Basically, for me, I would max x-bows for almost any non-shooting hunt creatures. You'll totally be AMAZED what a stack of 90+ X-Bows with Bless + Battle Fury can do. And if you are lucky enough to have a dose of Luck thrown in, very few stack would actually remain standing after an X-Bows' Aimed Shot. :)
Does that imply that battle fury would make more sense rather than any of the earlier talent build-ups I suggested. Also what about parameter points. I planned for 2 spell power and 2 knowldge. Is that more or less than needed?
For me, I switch mainly between Rally and Battle Fury, with the balance going to defense or luck if the talent points permit.

Escort isn't really that useful for hunts (and probably also applies to all other battles except thief caravans) once u get to level 8 and higher.

As for how many para points to allocate to Knowledge and Spell Power. It depends if you are going the way of Might or Magic Knight.
griffin is too important? yeah, for me, they are more like a decoy after lv8.

i dont know how other knight rate on griffin on hunt and pvp. for me, griffin in hunt is a decoy and blocker. griffin in pvp is just a food for enemy. they wont last longer more than 3 turns
hmm....so u suggest maximizing other units at the cost of griffins? Let me try that as well ;-)
should I bring recruits into battles?
should I bring recruits into battles?

IMO, bringing 2-3 recruits would be good for them to act as 'wall/protectors' for your Bowmen. Would then allow your Bowmen to take at least 1-2 good shots in before the neutral hunt creatures tear the Bowmen part. :)
so this is what I should choose for lvl 5:

max grifs (10)
then swords (28)
then bowman (23)
but just left with 1 recruit

or:

switch 1 swords for 1 bowman and 1 recruit, so I have 24 bowmen and 2 recruits + 27 swords and 10 grifs?
switch 1 swords for 1 bowman and 1 recruit, so I have 24 bowmen and 2 recruits + 27 swords and 10 grifs?

I would go for this. But if facing shooters, I would max Swords.
best talent for lv7 thief
