Why? I killed 12 generals in 14 battles (lost two, but still killed the general) |
If you look at teh top runners of the event now it is red knight.
If you compare this to the advances for wardens I think it is clear why.
Once enough points are accumulated you max out wardens (which as we all know have a high recruit count, their weakness being low ini). However the advances rank up their ini a lot, and give them return fire (amongst other things).
They also have return fire.
The top people had a holy build, so with rapid and evasion, very quickly the wardens will dominate, as they will have an ini of around 15 or so with rapid, take minimal damage from shooters with evasion on, but hit heavily in return. This would effectively double the shots fired from them if they are focused on, if they are not then the will stay at higher numbers to dominate more, allowing the slower remaining crusaders to counter attack. |

You can only access the link if you unlocked the unit you know... Otherwise you just see the usual cyclop. If not I would already know what cyclop lvl 30 looks like ;) |

At level 14 they get precision which means max damage = 10 at all times. Pretty much 100 wardens can 1 hit KO everything with exorcists chastise.
At level 15, they get savage to top it off and 2 hp per unit. Its ridiculous but my goblin archers can never match up to them. |

I suppose they get an enemy General with a balance of "power" between the 2 players, no? |

I've now somewhat "Understood".
Yes, the difficult is somewhat "High", so people are happy with just killing them Generals, because it gives good points, even if you lose.
