Author | Breaking news. Mercenaries' guild got changes.-3 |
Good update. Though I had intended to farm monsters to get MG points and FSP (which is why I leveled wizard, necro and knight last). Not really worried about the 'loss of points' because of the monsters tweak. |
I appreciate the updates which make MG a more enjoyable guild, which isn't only about skipping everything but monsters anymore.
What I don't get: Why we get "punished" now for doing monster quests? 1200 xp, 0.5 fsp for an Unholy knight monster (1)?
Seriously?

400% more exp for monster quest :P
that was one of the update to prevent farming monster quest |
Why magic punch is affected by the magic resistance? According to the game's logic, it doesn't deal magical damage, so it should do its normal damage.. |

Because if we don't, we get a character like this.

I am very happy with this update. Now monsters have been balanced. :) |
it's player like those because of which admins are forced to take such drastic measurements to stop monster farming. |
I dont mind about the update so much.
I think it's a fair update.
but they should also increase the benefits of elements that we gain from quests , like in HG
in MG it can be done as (12%+ 1% for each MG level extra) |

I'm not against a XP increase generally, but this is a bit too much. |

MG in general have been balanced but definitely not monsters.

That would drive element prices to be even lower.. |

I wouldn't say much on this as I haven't tried MGs yet but so far I have noticed that {0} low tier monster generally give less xp/fsp. I think MG 4 and even near to 5 is attainable with doing easy monsters and quests by CL 12. Even more now that new quests have been made available.
However, take this with a pinch of salt. :) |

At first glance I find nothing wrong with a guy like this, everyone should decide for him/herself how to play this game. But let's analyse this guy.
Started at: 2013-07-15 01:57: Registered. Faction: Necromancer.
Has allready achieved laborers guild 9, at this exact moment he has 15577 in it. Having achieved that in barely two years I have to give this person props to it. Because a year has 365 days, 2 years makes that 730 days. For this guy still missing a bit more than a month for it to be exactly two years, he is missing exactly 42 days right now, so that leaves him having been able to play for 688 days. Obviously he has played with abu-bakirs charm from the getgo. So let's break it down shall we: he has pressed 15577/1,5= 10385 times labor. Which is on average 10385/688= 15 times per day. So aside from sleeping he has always labored since the start and been here. Has his own avatar hero so that cost him 1000 diamonds which makes hime a huge donator, but let's analyse him even further.
He has a total of 7390 sp for a total of 1398 combats with only 32 defeats. Seems to have done 600 MG, almost all monster quests, which results into only 450 sp with the charm. Has 420 hunter points, that makes 462 sp due to charm, that makes it up to 912 sp. Has 51 thief guild points avering 1,78 sp per win making it 91 sp, sums total to 1003 sp so far for 1071 combats, with the defeats counting it in makes it 1103 combats. Which leaves out 295 combats which was mostly commanders guild for the remaining 6387 sp , but that's like 21 sp on average per battle what does not exist, for his level it would be around 6 sp per battle so the sp ammount doesn't add up. Either this guy knows what he is doing or he knows something we don't. This is very weird indeed, it's like he gained 5k sp out of thin air.
Also he doesn't participate much in events, seems to have played only a handfull each time or none at all. Probably checking to see if the gained sp is worth it to play on.
His stack of elements doesn't add up either. Having checked his transfer pages I don't see him buying any, but I do see him selling and or transfering well over 600 elements while he still has close to 600 elements left as well. He couldn't have gotten double elements since that happens as of MG level 4 and he hasn't played after reaching MG lvl 4. So having gained around 1200 elements for 600 quests doesn't add up either. There is something very fishy going on here.
But aside from all this, his sp gaining from MG is so marginal that it is practicly non-existent. So changing the monster questing for this reasoning still does not make any sense. |

Chest of abundances. Lots of them. Every level DU beginning from CL 3. Every level a minor tourney gold trophy(sometimes 2). |
It appears that this guy is millionaire lol :) |
for Lawton:
bro you missed out something.
he has won 11 minor tournaments.
every minor tourney give bonus fsp on every win.
and thinking that he has donated so much
probably he even has bunch of enchanted arts to make him win easily.
or may be heavy powerful arts(even if not enchanted).
check his combat log.
he has won every PVP he has done in two days.
I think all those are from minor tourney that's going on right now.
anyways who are we to tell.
there are some players who enjoy to fullest (like me, not paying even a penny).
whereas there are some who rains in diamonds on this game as is |
sorry by mistake pressed enter
whereas there are some who rains in diamonds as if it's their own life that they're fighting for.
there's even s player as
El furia
check him too
he's one of the richest too |
also if you noldor and keptop (or something)
the top two players.
they do average 50 battles a day.
it's like they have no life of their own.
so every person has own way of playing I would say |
Yes, it seems he has bought tons of chest of abundances, like a couple of thousand of them, only this explains it for those tournaments won't even add up to even 1k sp, let alone a few hundred.
So let me get this straight then, they changed the monster questing because players like this, who seem to have donated way more than a couple of guilds put together were doing too many monster questing, so they thought let's punish these guys? That's like they want it all to end. |

You are exaggerating a little. This is only one example of a player who happens to be rich and farming fsp. They are dozens out there who don't donate and yet farm fsp.
They only did Enrolls + Monsters Quest and nothing else.
Hell, if the update hadn't been put, I'd have done pretty much the same to build a strong char. Just enrolls and Monsters. Monster is a better alternative than HG because:
1. Better xp/fsp
2. Better drop rate of MG
3. Most elements are far more worth than any Hunter art.
But now since Monster's guild has been put to an end, the system has become more fair to "average" players combined with additional xp. Both players who level up quite fast and players who almost never levelled up will be forced indirectly to change their ways.
Everyone's thoughts here are just speculations. Our scope is limited. We don't have access to data nor the admin gave us the reason for the change but I think ~6 months after, we will come to know the exact reason and their effects on the whole system. I am quite happy that there will be lesser and lesser number of Level Campers with this update. Only the most resilient ones will survive. |
Nope, 5k sp coming from a few thousand chest of abundances? A non donating camper won't even get near that even after 5 years of camping. Besides this guy isn't camping for sp, he is actually buying them. Labor guild at level 9 means 2.6 times the payment, since average is 170 gold each time which would net him 170x2.6= 442 gold, and averaging for 15 times a day nets him 15x442= 6630 gold a day, he can even buy two chests each week just from that.
I applaud this guy for having almost reached the labor guild level of the top players with a distance of ten levels between them in just two years. From the way he is going, next year he'll be right behind Noldor on this one.
But I guess most missed my point, so I'll say it again: sp gaining from MG was so marginal that it was practicly non-existent. So changing the monster questing for this reasoning does not make any sense whatsoever.
Campers won't even be bothered by it. |

look at this combat of that player.
god knows what he's trying to do |
