i am lvl 10 de and i need to know best settlement and talents for theifing |
Lvl 10 is not nice for talents, because if you selecr rally, you left with 15 remaining points, which gives you only 1 more useful talent.
So basically you have 2 options: rally, basic offense, basic sorcery or
battle fury and combination with 19 remaining points (my favourite: advanced luck, but it can be basic luck & basic leadership or advanced offense...)
I recommend you first option though, cause you can last longer in the battle |

Split shrews 3-2 times and place them in the corners, hydras in the centre.
Place minos in the upper center where they can strike at first move. place lizards on the right square
PS: dont take max liards.. take max hydras and some minos..

I would suggest you a little diferent tactic:
knight, barb, demon, wizard caravans: place your lizards on the bottom center, around you should put 1 stack of minos and 3 stacks of shrews. Hydras are on the left center with 1 stack of shrews along.
Another variaty I was using some time: take 1 poisonner as well into battle, so you can take reatil for minos. Place minos and 1 poisoner in the bottom center, lizards on the left center, hydras top center, distribute shrews around those stacks...
elves, necromancer, DE caravans: Place liz in the bottom right corner with all the stacks of shrews and minos beside. put hydras in the left center corner. That way high ini stacks can't reach you in the first turn. Hydras basically serves just for decoy...
Like coolahed said, take min lizards recruitment and max first minos and than hydras.

What if I want to try the magic DE? How many Knowledge/SP do you advise for me on level10? What talents? What army setup? I am very new to DE, I loose many times, but I am trying:) |
Magic DE works wel in full arts..take atleast 8-9 knowledge because Ele.call will consume most of your mana.Take only 2-3 shrews and max mino followed by max liz and hydras.If you have poisonners take them in high numbers.Use ele.call,basic sorcery and basic chaos along with any other talent. |

you could stick to magic till lvl 8 when you get your shrew.
change to might and deal large damage with them with hit and run tactic |
unlike Wiz Magic DE is too week in hunts & MG quests. so change it into might when you have shrews.... till that time enjoy magic |
still, in pvp de magic is stronger than wizard due to piercing ability and many high lvl arts tend to have magic proof so wizard cant do much damage. |
magic built DE still can work in non-pvp too especially in hunt assist :)
of course, i m not mention on the chaos built. dark built is always fun :) |

They are very useful, but if you don't intend to to brake the records, you'll do without them just fine as well. Note that they make a great combination with poisoners to take retail for them so they basically deliver double the damage compared to basic minos. My advice is still to buy them asap cause they are a great upgrade imo |
