in that case, i think the alt-grades are actually worse than the first upgrade. But i don't think there'll be any alt-grades for some time yet lol. speaking of which, what lvl do u guys think is the first alt-grade? |

well the ultra upgrade are not to make more powerful monsters but truly to decide a new strategy for you;you can say they are upgrades but in different way for example:
Skeletons-Skeletal Archers-Skeletal Warriors
skeletal archers are for ppl who like to stay behind and only support with missile but for ppl who like attacking skeletal warriors is the best they are like hobo goblins but with stun, big shield, shield allies,and 25%magic proof
but sadly with no range lol |

But if you choose for royal griffins instead of frenzied griffins, can you change back to frenzied griffins later? or are you bound to that unit?

I'm sure we can. After all, we can change the upgrades of our other creatures in recruiting.

yea, i suppose u're right. Alt-grades aren't there to make the units stronger, but rather to offer a different playing style to the players right? |
oh and for griffins ultra upgrade is battle griffins

abilities:large creature,immune to blind,flyer,unlimited retaliation ,rush dive,battle frenzy
rush dives:choose a line in the field and the griffin will attack all enemies in that line each enemy suffers 75% of the normal attack
battle frenzy:every next retaliation strike performed by this unit inflicts 1.5 more damage than the previous retaliation the retaliation multiplier is reset when this creature get its turn |
