elf had single enchantment but nearly no use at all
Why would you use an enchanted weapon as an elf, when you know that 50%-75% of your troops die in the first turn?
You want to help yourself and your team? Get range resist talents/artifact and maybe even an enchanted defensive artifact. |
Concerning the battle mentioned. it is because of bad setup, very low FSL and bad play. as an elf below lvl 14 you always loose the efk and shooters first. so you need to use them fast. but the big mistake here was that the uni was hitted which is unacceptable.uni and tree are the ones you need to finish the whole game(something most of your PVP enemies forget)
if elf troops are dying it means other teammates troops live which is also important. just try to hit something.
again concerning the battle the dwarf also played it bad by closing the EFK path. use of a rune and reach the shooters was a far better choice.
For elf guidance you should ask questions for strategies in the elf section too. and i have more than enough proofs for all of this if you check my logs.(But It is really hard to find what you want) |
oh and for bad setup. like lower levels even 1 stack of 1 efk could have changed that whole game by blocking the rocs |

When archers die I'm always the one targeted by wiz and if in sight of others m attacked
This always helps my partner to take time and kill others :)
Well every faction has its certain troops targeted
In elf uni and trees always survive and they r the finishers
Well enchants help to finish defence fast and armor enchant let's u survive

Elves don't really fare well wheb it comes to defense. Elf has too less meat as compared to others and is not best suited for 3v3 battles untill you get Ironroot treefolks.
I personally changed from elf thanks to the above reason. Efks and GMBs are good enemy magnets but are not good at absorbing damage for more than a turn. In comparison units like Enforcers, Vamps, Skelbows, Patriarchs, etc are good magnets as well as damage absorbers.
The only damage dealing unit is Unicorn. So that is kinda okayish. Although ofc, with correct luck and critical triggers, they have capabilities of one hit finish huge stacks, but that too is a rare scene. |
Don't forget about the trees though, I won a lot of battles because the trees were the only thing standing at the end of the battle. |

Well, i am using enchants, because i want win. And payment from facility defense can cover enchanted arts, so why not. In fact, we mostly really need enchants for win defense.
About elves. I played defenses with a lot of elves and few of them are really good. They used weapon enchats, did nice damage and mostly survived to end of fight. They used "different" troop setup. No efk, maximum unicorns, max trees, max anchorites and possibly few archers as bait. Anchorites divided to one big stack (nice damage dealer) and one or two small stacks for stone skin buff and later can take damage. Unicorns and anchorites are two main damage dealers, trees can catch and keep dangerous stacks and do nice damage too. And btw, dont build elf purely for luck. With luck proc its mostly nice damage of course, but its not guaranted and without luck procs his damage is pathetic. |

at lower levels elf can choose to use sprites instead of efk ( with tactics or swiftness instead of both). then you can do a lot of damage in 1st turn ( before they die hah) |
any safe place in maps ? need to get 1 or 2 facilities |
All map place's are conquered by MC's. If you want some you'll always have war with one or more MC's because of the fact that you're gonna hold some facility's they want.
Don't see any middle way here for EFL.. Make an better Alliance with some big ass Russian MC or join us other .commies :) |

Raising necro is always tough to defeat
and barb dont survive much
fury or shadow with more ogres will help barb survive as they dont die so easily :P
Raising necro only one strategy..stand on its dead troops then only u stand chance or if liches r there just atk it hero will raise it :)

Both factions are focused by AI, so it doesn't matter much. In both cases you need to have a big stack to survive, either ogres or hydras. And in both cases you need a lot of range resistance artifacts, so your troops will survive longer.
If you play as the higher level in that defense, it's better to go with alt barb. High range resistance plus higher defense (as you have the highest level) may prove enough for AI to focus other units first.
If you play as the lowest lvl, I would prefer my partner to be a DE with tactics and a lot of range resistance. Shrews and lizards will do some nice damage in the start, dark witches will cast some needed slow and hydras will help you survive. |
Can some1 give me the links of 4-5 russian MC's who have lot of defenses (facilities) and tolerate and accept English players :)
