I did not change my talent wheel. I have been using X-Bows all along for the past week.

Typo: "I have been using RALLY all along for the past week."
I just remembered, u can check what talents I'm using in battle by double-clicking on my Hero, and both times, I'm using my Rally talent.

So now, no matter what I try to do, I can't get my X-Bows back up to 44, without changing the numbers of my other stats. hahaha...

Hi all high-level knights,

I have watched some high-leveled knights battles, and when they do use magic, I noticed almost all uses the Bless and Rapid spells.

Now both of these are available with Magic Guild 1 (Rapid, Delay, Bless, Curse). Hardly any knights use spells from Magic Guild lvl 2 (Dispersion, Stoneskin, Disruption ray, Poison).

So my Q is - Do we really need to build Magic Guild lvl 2? Or would just getting MG lvl 1 will do?

Chastise is very useful. expert level gives +12 attack. so get magic guild 2 unless you don't want to play knight as main faction.

Hmm.. that's Magic guild lvl 3, which I can't get right now. haha..

But how do u get to Expert level? - By putting parameter points into Spell Power, or... ?

for holy,

stone skin can be a key for you to kick other hard. we all know that how good can stone skin be while we still low level. +9 def from druid do dramatically affect the result of battle. now, you have an option to +12 :)

dispersion, forget this spell, you wont use it much. it only useful when you need to dispell poison else we got counter spell which is save more mana rather than dispersion.

for dark,

if you just want some Kn, dis ray will be useful since the def reduced will be last long until end of battles.

poison will be another weapon for you as fallen knight :)

The highest is the Evasion and Chastise spells, which is lvl 3 (??). So why do we need to get Expert Holy Magic when there's no lvl 5 Holy magic spells?

Magic schools lvl 4-5 have not been created yet, but the talents for them are still useful because they make other spells more powerful.
Alright. I'm about to drink a Potion of Oblivion, and re-allocate my parameter points, and also my talent points.

But I don't wanna 'waste' BOTH parameter points AND talent points to duplicate the same thing - make magic spells more powerful.

So since the higher the Spell Power (spending a few parameter points) of a Hero, the more powerful is the spell cast, but getting say, Expert Holy Magic ALSO makes spells cast more powerful, which should I 'waste'? Parameter or Talent points?
Jedi, spell power in your case (for holy and dark magic spells) influences the duration of them, not the power. 3 spell power means 3 turns duration. The real "power" of holy and dark spells is determined by their respective talents.

Ahh.. clear now. So basically, using para points for a knight is a 'waste', as it only increases the duration of the spell, and not the damage inflicted itself.

Alrighty, I got most of my answers from other threads.

So as a knight, and being able to use only Holy and Darkness magic, the ONLY effect Spell Power has is on the durability of the spell, as Holy and Darkness magic don't really have any attacking magic spells.

Sad.. :/

I'm not a knight, but I would go for mass rapid, mass stoneskin, or mass poison could be cool (but that one would need you to invest in spellpower :)
Sp will affect the spell dmg, that's correct. in most case, it mention on chaos spell due to the most dmg spells are from chaos talent.

it doesnt mean that Sp have nothing to do with other dmg spell from other talent. wasp and poison dmg still affected by Sp.

for other spell, buff and debuff spell will need Sp to make it last longer. the point to having more Sp: it allow your hero do other thing but not just keep casting spell due to short duration.

keep note that Sp doesnt affect the effect of spell; talent skill do affect.

ofc, it would be pointless if enemy using counter spell to kill your buff or debuff. it is the debateable point for having more Sp or not.

I noticed you have +3 to Knowledge and Spell Power. Is it coz you allocated some parameter points to it, or you got the +3 for Knowledge and SP from some talent(s)?
