Skeletal legionnaires are now at 218 leadership cost. I'm not sure what they started out as, but I wish I had nearly 50k leadership before the price started going up. I think I had somewhere around 10-15k worth that is now worth 44k. Could have gotten a bunch of rare upgrades if I had started out with more

I'm wondering if I should just keep letting them increase before exchanging. They might be able to get up to 400-500 leadership at the rate they are going. Druids had a huge increase, I'm sure these supports will be similar

I somehow don't understand the goal of this guild anymore. Let's consider only 1 point battles. As first I expected it to be a slightly profitable guild, which will bring you some extra gold in long run. I didn't expect much gold, maybe 100 gold profit per fight on average, but it would be still a nice bonus. While my LeG was 0 adn I used uncommon creatures, fights weren't very profitable but resurrection costs were around 0 after battle reward consideration. I thought that the difficulty won't change after you level up and by each new level you will be able to have more profit from the battles.
OK, that was definitely wrong, we found out that the difficulty adjusts to your level, so your extra 1k points bigger army per level is useless for the guild. It is useful mainly in events.
Few weeks ago, when I was LeG5 and got upgraded sphynx, my 1 point battles had changed to better. 90% of them were very easy and my ressurection cost average was something near 250 while the average reward was 280+. That was at least some profit and I was satisfied with the effort made on my slow path to 1% ini. I had started to think that this guild can be really played comfortably with no gold loss and even some really nice profits during events. Then I leveled to LeG 6. At the beginning it was almost the same. My average ress. cost was maybe 280-300 while the reward was a bit more.
Then suddenly one day everything has changed. The enemies in 1p battles started to b every annoying, I often lose for 500g+, win with 250 gold ress. only from time to time...

Have admins really made the guild battles tougher? Nowadays it is common practise for me to skip 1-2 battles out of 4 because I clearly see that I would win them only with 500g+ ressurection loss.
Does this mean that this guild never was intended to be profitable itself for us (only the events can be?)? Or admins change its difficulty based on their mood?

I can see only 2 advantages of this guild fur us players:
1. small profit from occasional events based on this guild
2. Battle glory points for MC clans from the events

However I am not totally hopeless. I still somehow believe that in long run it will be possible to find very rare creatures with the power to make our battles profitable in all difficulty levels (1, 1.2, 1.5). Otherwise after getting my 1% ini reward it would be only a big waste of time for me to do the daily LeG battles and thus the whole guild would be useless for me from this point (except the events). And what I wanted to say is that I don't understand admins why they have done this guild to work like this... I don't see much logic there (except making money profit from us like with those weird white wolves). This guild had a potential to be very enjoyable while profitable as well. Without a profit it is only some weird admins' attemp and that's a shame.
I see your point Nowar, I have been doing 1.5 battles and had not really looked at the level 1 ones. I had assumed they would still be suitably easy. While no real liklihood of losing them, they are harder than expected, no cash cow here.

I tried 2 level 1 ones, and in both made a marginal profit 20-40 gold. So am hopeful that long term it still will be profitable, though not massively and possibly not with auto.

That is the sole purpose of this guild, don't even think otherwise.
Yes, I find it extremely annoying that 1.0 battles are so hard. Sure, make people pay a little for 1.2, and a lot for 1.5, but for those of us who happily take their time gaining LeG level, the 1.0 option should be at least break-even, if not profitable, even for people without fancy troops.

For me 1.0 battles gives me zero gain in money. I make nice money from some and lose a lot on others.
My biggest problem is that better units cost so much (like I have Death Envoys at 1311 leadership) and you can recruit such a low number, that is not worth it. So I'm stuck with the slow ini, slow moving creatures, like swordsmen, ghouls and Earth elementals.
And I chose to recruit shooters somehow the game knows and I get a lot of fast moving melee units as the enemy :)))

once cleared your 4, change your army setup to all shooters. maybe then your chance to get a suitable one for your usual slow melee army increase ;)

Creature - Old cost / Current cost

Temptresses - 555 / 324 (Lowest cost recorded was 275)
Nix Warriors - 1225 / 1128
Hydra - 574 / 485 (Lowest cost recorded was 470)
Wild griffin - 471 / 382 (Lowest cost recorded was 370)
Ogre trophy-hunters - 427 / 346

There are lots of them in the list
The rare units which are in my wish list are Guardians, Hydras, Protectors, Satires and among Epic units i would love to have Silver pegasus.
Satyrs definitely would be my top desire for this, means with leprechauns you can have one very very tanked up unit that can own.

I would imagine a lot of the common troops have got cheaper as less played with, though not sure.
