Forgot to add:
Many players do not try out every faction because it's very expensive to change factions especially at higher levels.
Already at level 10 it would cost me like 200k gold to switch and get everything in castle and creature upgrades I need to do anything worthwhile with the faction.
Not mentioning different arts and stats because my main faction is wizard ad most other factions do not work well as magic builds outside of group battles. | for Shagan:

They are lazzy not giving you the calendar for the updates, stupid because they don't understand anything and don't want to give you a TI for 5.000 po.

From my side I would just say THANKS to them because without developpers and admins we would not have that game. | I see you are still incapable to stay civilzed, you lack the intelligence to adress the critisms which were brought forth and throw out red herrings and put words into my mouth I never uttered.
To clarify things:
1.) I did not unsult any admin nor did spit on them and neither did I say they are bad or anything. In fact I never adressed anything about the admins, I just said what I think would improve the gaming experience for many lower level players and that from my subjective point of view.
I did critisize and even insult you because trying to lead a decent discussion with you is like talking to a brick wall or worse which you just proved again and I told you if you have such a bad opinion about players who utter critism you are not fit for any kind of such a job since you claim you got such big experience in that regard.
And since some people like to throw out stuff so called wise people uttered here is one for you:
Experience means nothing. After all you can do something terribly for 35 years.
n other words, experience is not evidence you got any good knowledge about a ubject nor that you are good at it.
2.) None of your insults have any merit or basis. They are the usual lame ad hominem attacks because you lack the intelligence and patience to properly discuss anything and adress the points other people made.
Instead you ignore them and talk about crap no one ever said anything about.
3.) If the server would go down I would move on to another game. Besides LWM is not a game I play primarily. Would I miss it? Sure, was fun. Would I cry or mourn? No, why should I? Everything comes to an end sooner or later. Such is life.
4.) I said reasonable price, not delivering me the TG ivitation on a silver tablet but since you like to throw out base insults I can return the favour: Congrats on your leeched TG invitation you most probably got by getting a loaned on from someone you know and returned it when you got TG 4 essentially paying nothing but the time to get to TG 4 in 4 weeks to pay back the loan in the allowed time.
Not that I know anything about you and this insult is baseless but hey, it's not like I cannot drop to your level and easily beat you at it since you lack the intelligence to forumlate anything worthwhile.
5.) Really, I must say thanks? And the admins must not say thanks to me who has been faithful to this game for about 2 years now? You think this game would be anything more than an anonymous database if none would play it?
It's something which has to happen from both sides.
Do you say thanks to a pilot because he made a safe landing with the air plance even though it's also his own life which is at stake and its is job to do so?
I know that this comparison isn't 100% valid since the admins behind this game do it in their free time.
But none forced them to do so and if it was money they wanted to make with this game they should have invested heavily like any other computer gaming company and bring it to the game stores.
So to end this silly argument, critism is good and anyone should be encouraged to bring forth what he thinks is lacking in the game or where improvments could be mde but he must also realize that he is just one of many players and other have different opinions and must be able to live with it if none of his concerns got adressed and must decide of the flaws are so heavy he cannot enjoy the game anymore then he should leave or the good sides outweight the flaw sufficiently and proceed playing.
I count myself to the latter players. And I'll certainly not shut up because some wannabe like you thinks he got any authority here.
You may be level 15 but you too are just one of many players here and yor opinion is not worth more or less than anyone else opinion.

reason to blame the admins: apply the TG change from .ru to here without introducing other updates, so mid-level players now have very hard time leveling up without doing massive pvp. TGI price itself is too high, even a Starcraft 2 collector's edition doesnt cost this much. To me 40euro is a reasonable price, and I believe reducing the price to half will at least double the number of players who wants to buy it.
reason not to blame the admins: again, remember this game is free!! If you pay money for diamond, then you can enjoy this game; if you didnt pay a cent, you should not complain a single word. And I think it's nonsense to complain about not having higher levels and new factions.
The only thing that should be complained about is the TGI change. | yeah Shagan, continue to mourn and consider others that disagree with you as unintelligent person.

As to regarding respects since all admins have not treated me badly or unfairly I have no reason not to respect them.
You obviously fail to comprehend the difference between disrespect and critism, both are different and critism has nothing to do with respect or disrespect. Try looking both words up before you make you look like a fool trying to attach a label to someone who as done nothing of the sort.
As a matter of fact my best friend is far from shy critising me when I do something bad or if he sees I could do something better.
Proper Critism is actually a great deal of respect because people actually think about you and your projects or whatever is attached to you.

This is me speaking, a noob, level 10, coward runaway wizzy... I've been here not from the beginning. Joined thief guild right on the neck of updates (so my only TGI will be at TG lvl 5). So I am just like you: noob, green and silly... and here's my translation on everyone's language:
What Jedi, Pantheon, Mr. Pang, El-Sheighul and all the other *high level* noobs are trying to say is simply this: asking for updates, will *NEVER* bring them. Because they are not appropriate for this server's development level (in terms of population). This server will get dwarves, wars, tournaments and all the other juicy events (*which are ALL already implemented!!!*) when there will be enough people on it. That was beside the point. Fact is every wizard player can now easily acquire triple arts now compared to the time before the update.
That they refunded the resources has nothing to do with the fact that they are not needed for new players now, they can casually level up and not be afraid about being severely weaker than other players because they cannot get full power due to massive resource requirements.
It was argued that players are greedy and just wish a thief invitation for free and comically one update already gave some players access to a certain part of the game for free which originally meant investing 100ks of gold.
So their argument holds again no merit.
I for example could not have afforded triple arts at all by the way. Or if at all only for the most important stack: Gargoyles. | Why dont you all agree on following the game plan. Spend you gold, so we get the new system faster and its going to be more user/newbie friendly.
LG cut or remove and higher rewards for hunts and other battles.
Just start spending, this has been said by our glorious Arctic, that to get the new system we need to drain the gold out of the game. So be it, lets join together and achieve that. | 1. First of all, shutting people up, because they are complaining gets us nowhere. If they can stay polite during the complaining, let them complain, even if it is just pure whining in "Its no fair" style. Frustrated people should be allowed to release their steam.
2. Not commenting actions of administration, but sharing their feelings about the game and what they would like to see improved. Feedback is important, we wouldnt have I&S section if it wasnt important. Even if no one reads it, players should have a feeling they can share their views. Sharing valid criticism is helping the community.
3. Nobody will leave this game because they see a whining topic like this. There are plenty of frustrating topics that make people leave in Ca&A section. Letting people say only nice things is just censorship.
4.We all should realise that this topic will change nothing, for one simple reason: Administration of this game has set amount of time, they are going to spent in improving this game. Simple try to see it from their point of view: I have a job, a family, free time. This game is just one of their projects. If you are not planning on cloning a few new Arctics, | And to few specific points: TGI was meant to be a "luxury" that could only be earned by those who donate + those poor souls who spend most their lives here. I was part of the game not since its birth, but I enjoyed the "thieves everywhere stage" of this game very much. But the fact is that it was meant to collapse, because it made those "luxurious" TGIs almost worthless when everyone was a thief. The change stabilized TGI prices. It was a successful change that made TGI rare again, as it was meant to be.
There were negative aspects of free TGIs too. Prices of renting the invitations were so low, that renters often resorted to rent TGIs to additional accounts, their own multis, etc. Then they were often scammed, robbed of their most valuable property, for a few coins. I have seen few good players leave just because they were sad and frustrated because they have lost an invitation they bought with 80 diamonds to a scammer. So everything has its positive and negative points of view. | all you can do is just stop to spend real money (diamonds) on this game, maybe then they will change something.^^
like add lvl 16/17 finally, add dwarft faction, make more events, advertisment
and change some ingame rules which are discussed in forum very often and maybe they even look on Ideas&Suggestions from forum. :)

Oh right. Easy solution is....go ask your BEST friends why they left! Case closed.
For the rest, as one who has been here since the first month that heroeswm.com opened (yes that was LWM's original name) let me dispel some mystiscm for the masses. This game's past has been a roller coaster ride since its beginning. If you can accept the following fact then the game's problems will be much easier to swallow:
Expect that the admins (even Arctic) will be afk much more than they are giving updates, making changes, reading I&S threads, and otherwise protecting the Empire with their all powerful Wand of Attention (9 months off, 3 months on seems to be the average).
Nothing is new under the sun. Players come and go. Months pass without word from them. Malcontents will complain/discuss their agitation. Moderators will agitate players and vice versa. All a player of LWM can do is find an aspect of the game or community that they like and focus on that, playing it to their full. |
