@80. There are some people on the internet who will mouth off. Then, when everything goes alright, they will lord it over everyone, but when everything goes wrong, or they can't back up what they say, they go all silent, or even ignore people. I don't do that. It's weak and pathetic and show a lack of character.
I stand by my comments. India going in to the tournament were seen as a chance to win, but by no way were they the favourite. At least outside of India. :-)
The closeness of the final attests to that. If a bit of luck went Sri Lanka's, way the result could have been different. But it wasn't. India won and deserves to be congratulated. |
