did u tried it? bcuz i did, and it can translate the about the game section and forums, but not in-game pages like the character one. Anyway, even if its the same game and buttons and commands remains in his position, its kinda anoying playing with strange simbols u cant read. |

i don't understand any bit russian
and google doesn't really help
either the sentences are totally screwed up (they make no sense at all) or half of the sentence is not translated and i get a mix of english and russian
it's like the english a lot of player around here are using - you have to guess what they mean by 1-2 operative words
so why should i play on .ru?
the only reason i may think of to become part of a community i don't understand and a multiplayer game at which i can't cooperate because i can't speak russian and many there can't speak english/some other european language is that i would get new stuff over there (at least faster than here)
but: if i only understand what i already know from the .com version i won't understand the part of the game which is the reason why i would play there, the new things
well cool i might fight back some dwarves (from which i only know that they are dwarves because i played HoMM V, otherwise i would have thought of them as some race like northerners because some of their units are quit similar to celtic/viking gods) but i will never know how their spells work, why they do what they do, what i do wrong (because they are resistant to it) and so on
it absolutely does not make any sense for me to play there
like many other i have no choice but to depend on this server
therefore i even would accept if they would add thing like advertising banner or diamonds who can be made a gift to other people so they can keep up their good work |

If you are not willing to play this game 'as is', don't play it.
If you are willing to play it 'as is' and we get updates, then so much the better for you.
If you are willing to play it 'as is' and we don't get updates, that won't be a problem for you, since you WERE willing to play 'as is.'
Grow up and learn some patience, people. Like many of you, I played Travian and they had OUTSTANDING support. That was great, but this isn't Travian. Take what we have. |

This game is very good, but new players don't come to the game. It is the first sign that rates game. If there are no new players, something is wrong.
To make game more interesting for newcomers, game need more attention from admins.
But the problem is that there are just 2 admins for 2 games servers, russian and english. Probably it is main reason why we don't have new events.
So we can just wait while admins will find time for us also....

#90, so, are you offering to refund my money then? Because I actually paid for this. Always nice when somebody takes my money and then says "If you don't like it, just leave...as long as I get to keep your money".
I think at some point they'll finally get a non-Russian admin who admins only this server (and only gets paid with donations from this server) who will run the tournaments and suchlike here, and port code over from the Russian server when he's able. As long as that's a reasonable hope, I'll tread water until then. |
I feel so good every time I open lordswm.com, with that reassuring "Goodbye Lags" always there on the Official Announcements... :-(
Anyway, we are starting to loose mid-high level players. I know lot of them who are deciding if they will stay on not on this game. It's happening in this days. For all these who believe that we don't need them, I'd like to remember you that this is an online game and it needs its comunity. Without a comunity of players there is not any online game, nor donation, definitely no game...
I'm quite sure that donations are at their lower level during this period. This is a suicide tactics, we need at least the presence of an Admin on this server

You want a reason? The server is full of cheaters. We can delete the rules book OR make the players follow the rules. In booth ways we need admind.

The problems isn't admins inactivity ; but there inability to be able to update.You see few days ago many (or atleast few) cheaters were blocked, this shows their activity.On the other hand , no updates shows their inability.
Arctic was here who could do the updates because he had that ability to update.
What I am saying is the prblem of Communication.So i would request any
Russian-English speaker, with a little knowledge of progamming rather than Arctic try to Contact the Admins on .RU, and convince them to allow that player to help.
