I have hints about DEMONS:

first, if u want to be the survivor of a great battle u must raise demons max and decrease the other tier.

second, if u are lvl 1 or 2 the easiest way to WIN is to beat up necromancers.Use imps, imps only drain few manas but when u split them they will drain 1 manas each

third, if you love the gating abilities u might want to split some of your troops.I always split my troops and i got imps max so i split them into 24 divide 3. wolfhounds divide 3. demons(not enough rows to split) dont split.

fourth, if u want the gating abilities always work spit them at least 3-4(i recommend 4)

I recommended Ilykeke as a good Demon .. he just brings a small numbers of demons but a large numbers of SPAWNS and he did some "BRILLIANT" blocks to the archers and some main troops of his enemies ...
links to battle pls... and the majority of Demons uses spawns if they don't have Incendiaries...

shud i go max succubi or shud i put 5 to get max demons and 13 hounds
87: max succubi, max wolf, take 4-5 imps and rest for demons( if u dont have spawns)
dont use hellfire, it will drain ur mana very fast, nothing left for magic arrow
basic fortune is the best at lv 5
At lv 5 im going with full succbis spawns and hell hounds. But should i have the might build or magic build?

ok i'll take magic but how should i split spawns so i suck as much mana as possible? and i also wanna suck mana with the gated stacks. should i split 1 and 1 or should i do 2 and 2 or 3 and 3?
How should i split the spawns so they can gate most of the time and not fail?

split ur spawns 3-3-3-17
for better result, u must have 4-5 faction points (about 30%+ chance create gated unit)
so, usually each stack of 3 spawns can gate 1 more spawn

in higher lv faction skill, usually only need 2 spawns to gate 1
but if u are a gambler type, u can try 1 1 1 23 spawn...sometimes ur luck is high enough and can gate lots of spawns, lol... just 'sometimes'...lol
i prefer 2+2+2 type, 70% that u'l gate and 12 hp, hard to kill from 1 hero atack
lol sometimes... if u make it all 1 1 1 1 1 ... it will fail all...
but when i gate one at first turn then another one at other turn all gated...

Succubis are shooters which means they have a melee penalty. Unless a shooter has a 'no melee penalty' ability, they will do only half the damage in melee as opposed to when they are shooting.
