Also why is necro bad? Because of 1 kn? But that's not that big of a deal imo, if you really want you can change to barb to get att, knight to get def, or elf to get ini. |

What game do you want to develop? There are so many different kinds of games -
1. Games like Dota 2 or Counter Srike, playable on a PC
2. Animation heavy and real time action games on mobile phones
3. Web apps like lordswm
In most cases, to be a real game developer, you should start with a game engine like Unity.
In all cases, libGDX is not the right thing to start with or use down the line. |

I was starting with Unity only, I even started learning C#. But then I searched about this stuff and most of the people said that Unity hides too much from the user while in libGDX we need to do everything so its better for learners.

I do not understand. Do you want to develop games or do you want to develop your own game engine? If you want to learn how to develop a game engine, I cannot help you. I have only ever created a 2D physics engine from scratch and a product like Unity is the result of thousands of many years of work.

Actually, your reason for not starting with Unity is, to put it mildly, invalid. A valid reason I was expecting you to counter with is that Unity is closed source. Look at the collection of open source game engines - https://github.com/collections/game-engines
Engines like godot are far better. libgdx is only a valid choice if you only want to target Android devices. That is why, my question above.
I'm pretty sure I don't want to do 2. and 3. so its probably option 1 only.
At the end of the day, it is possible to create a fun game with libgdx. It is possible to have a fun web app written in PHP with complete disregard for security (for example, lordswm). However, if you are asking for advice, it is really not recommended to start with libgdx in a world where other better options exist.
libGDX is written in Java. While there are ways to build it into native binaries, its intended and supported use is with the JVM, which has performance ramifications. |

Yeah the lifeguard membrane with extra hp does help a lot
but the pit demons are so important when killing those tanky wrath demons or seraphs.. |
