And let's face it, If you actually do heavy AP battles 10-15 everyday, anyways you'll be gaining good troops for LeG, and as you level up more and more, you will not be needed to resurrect the troops itself, and you can keep gaining heavily.
For the love of god, please implement the EDIT button. |
Since MEshy posted his costs for LG yesterday I have started counting mine for curiosity
average a net loss of 216 from my last 8 (so only a small sample size at the mo)
Best was profit of 53, worse was net loss of 562, none with auto, all 1.5 difficulty.
I am also interested in working out the total difficulty of the enemy to see if it scales or is static. (only focusing on 1.5)
One I could work out was an elf army which has a total Leadership of 20478. (anticipating cap at 20500)
I knight seems like it may trend to a similar number if I estimate reasonably the unknowns I have for it (clerics, exorcists and charger). If anyone knows the values for these that would help.
Also if you happen to face an army that every leadership value is known please can you work out its total and post it here, along with your LeG level and the difficuty of the battle. |
Current theory - since they have not stated that difficulty scales with LeG I will assume them to be truthful.
Fitting with this I would anticipate a fixed value for LeG for each difficulty OR
A fixed % increment from your army size.
Eg level 1 is 80% your max army size
1.2 100% your army size
1.5 130% your army size.
Need numbers to test the theories |
1.2 100% your army size
http://prntscr.com/m7cywr Medium difficulty,
8*296 + 1,010 + 9*756 + 10 * 110 + 19 * 68 + 35 * 107 + 66 * 54 = 19,883
My maximum army size is 15k |
Thanks Meshy - Thats what I get for putting in a random guess with no numbers :) I was only meaning to highlight the principle of the theory, not a clue what numbers they would work out to even if correct.
Interestingly I just worked out for a DE I did yesterday at 1.5 and got 21028 total.
So not much difference between 1.2 and 1.5 and suggestive that LeG level does not matter (unlikely to be so close with both a variance of difficulty and with me having a higher LeG level)
so we have 1.2 - 19893
1.5 - 20478 and 21028
Suggests either there is a range of values the army can have) or it is not based on leadership scores but instead some other "power" factor like other dynamically balanced armies are done with. |

Recently i started using that auto resurrection script and it has some additional features and one of them is to provide average resurrection cost on which we had a discussion few days before.
Considering the reward amount for GL 7 (Around 450-500 in my last 16 battles) and the data received from script, the gold loss range which i mentioned in post 581 seems to be accurate for my army. I have no idea why omar is trying to be oversmart here and mislead others with some wrong info mentioned in post 579, 594 and 595.
Also I don’t understand what he was trying to prove in post 611 by posting few of the losses experienced by Lord MilesTeg and some of my won battle in which I had a big gold loss. The discussion was about average resurrection cost to begin with but posting those battles makes you look like you have selective memory . In post 603 I have “CLEARLY” mentioned that resurrection cost varies with the opponent which you are facing. Sometimes you win easily and gold loss is less while sometimes you win by taking heavy damage which results in bigger loss and that’s the reason why all of us are more interested in “AVERAGE LOSS”.
I’m not here to argue with you since that would be complete waste of my time. Also I don’t have any problem if you are trying to explain the benefits of 1.0 battle over 1.5 battle, Infact i would be very interested to know the details but if you are trying to butt into others army then make sure you have good knowledge about it before you try to prove someone wrong since it might mislead those people who are new to this guild. |
Recently i'm seeing more and more upgraded T7 in bandits army
first was Titans, now cursed behe and jade dragons making it more difficult

for Fallen Atheros:
Do you have infected zombies? If yes then try using them because their Infecting strike ability works really well against the units with high parameters. |
for Expert_BOT:
yes i have infected zombie and ghouls but lack neccesary troops to support them |
luckily for me I have good set of troops but still level 4
I am afraid to suffer like last event I lost a lot ! |

I am doing only 1 points battle, where the reward is usually something around 290-300 for me. And I use only uncommon and rarer creatures. So LeG can be profitable for me.
I do 1.2 point battles from time to time, especially when I see that I will have huge loss on 1 point anyway, and usually I lose around 150-200 gold when doing 1.2 point battle |
If you do a battle without resurrecting your dead troops, are they lost forever? I played next mission right away after losing without resurrecting :( |
Yup. Dont forget to ressurect. I lost a lot of good stacks like that.. |
too bad, i lost swordsmen and stone eaters... two of my favorites :( |
I lost venomus spiders and Infiltrators (and a lot of leprechauns) |
This is why I love my auto resurrect script |
I lost some ages ago, since then, never again. It is easy for me though since my army is not big enough unless I resurrect, and as such have to in order to fight again. |
As an update after 20 LeG battles at 1.5 my average cost per battle is 350 gold. One loss basically upped that amount by almost 100 gold, so just shows how significant it is if you lose and the importance of judgement of whether you can win it or whether you need to switch your recruitment around. |
I think there may be a bug with infiltrators, I have suspected it before but not had a crystal clear example I spotted. All too often it seems like they only take damage once from poison.
In this battle I hit temptresses, giving them 99 poison damage. However they seem to skip a turn and by the time they move again the poison has worn off, so the remaining 3 do not die like they should have.
Have I missed something or should I report in bugs section?

for Lord MilesTeg:
They used hypnosis on your turncoat warmages. When they do that, they will get their turn no sooner than the stack under hypnosis dies or the hypnosis is over. So they can't suffer from poison. |
