can someone give me some level 8 advice if just levelled and need tips on tactics, troops and talents
anybody care to help me out |
well u can hav the MOST offensive team like having more sprites and EFKS plus rally
or u can become like me having +3 luck and 35 sprites and 41 EFKS but less archers and druids
and u can hav more archers but u will have less melee troops |

Take +3 luck from talents, buy amulet of luck, take 27 sprites, 46 EFK, 8 druids, 15 bowmen and 6 unicorns and you will pwn :P |

I concure with #684 as troops alteration, but Advanced fortune (luck +2) and Basic leadership (moral +1) as talents. As arts, for minimum AP I use Reprisal Sword, Defender Shield and Medal of Bravery. For full arts: the level 8 arts + 2 Rings of Inspiration. |

min bows is not a good idea for hunts at all (ranged hunts maybe an exception).
for Elven_Lord:
For hunts I suggest max-ing bows and efks completely and puuting the rest in druids and unicorns, unless its a slow unit hunt then max sprites+max bows.
The set up 684 and 685 mentioned are most ideal for certain quests and ambushes only. Trust me on this one as I've completely played level 8 and speak from full experience, but as always trying yourself is your best bet.
As for talents, expert luck or rally is the way to go, or you can swap one luck for 1 leadership. Again you should test them out to see what works best for you. |

but what if we would have Imbue Arrow here ? :P
Imbue arrow with .... magic arrow or something ( i rly dunno what elves have ) & doing Rain of Arrows after it ( in a group duel ) >< it would take you about 90 mana but at least all enemies would be badly burned >.<
i know my friend tryed doing it on HOM&M 5 on duel mode vs Me ( he used Arcane Crystal to imbue the arrow ) and he pwned me in 30 seconds >< |
| But at high level (10 and more) Elves need summon phantom coz of their low amount of troops .. they need much more power to stay alive and finish the mission .. :) Yeahh many elves players said the admins made too many mistakes when creating this factions ... almost right .. :) |

1)What factions are easy to kill at lvl 6 xD [in level 5 demons are knight are easy to Win]

for GrifonHeart: For elves are the best in duels for SURE .. till level 8 and DE get Shrews, then u will get some challengings duels .. :)
Against knights, set fav enemies to Griffins .. kill bowmen first, then griffins (block them first) with druids .. :) then swordsmen the last .. do not let them touch ur bowmen .. :)
U should wear : Steel blade, Def Shield, Amulet of Luck and Leather Armor is enough for u I think .. :)
If u wanna attempt FULL ARTS, then u have to use so much money .. :) |

| guys please tell me how to beat barbarians at level 3-4, I find them as my worst enemy.... the orcs shoot better than the bowmen (they have more initiative...) and still are able to kick my ass in melee....the FK are slower than the wolves and usually the enemy is clever enough to split them in some minos so my minos are easely gone.... I don't know what to do.... |

oh I'm a so stupid noob that I have ever thought that minos was meant for the one man stack of tier 1 units, not for minotaurs xDD
