lvl 1-7 : elves are good at almost anything(not the best, but good enough)
lvl 8-9: better at caravans, but weaker at pvp
lvl 10: caravans and hunting: good to excellent, pvp weak
lvl 11: good at hunting, lame at caravans and pvp
so you can see that starting from lvl 9 elves get weaker and weaker.
also, you might look at what's coming - green dragons - you saw them last winter during the dragon quests - nothing great about them, they're weaker than twilight dragons.
elfs must hit first, because our low hp don't offer us protection, in pvp we can't do that because our speed is low, and now other factions can attack our troops immediately(8 speed). Also, if enemy troops are spread out - our efk do too little damage. That's why elves are good ambushers(against other players) and pathetic when ambushed(enemy troops are spread out and our efk can attack only one stack at a time).

i though 50% winning rate at level 11 is pretty good. any other faction could do better? |

well actually all factions has its own advantages and disadvantages
DE is quite good because of the shrews and the hydra(especially nxt time it will upgrade to deep hydra)
its just depends on how u use that faction |
for ElfMoon: This is the faction that I am afraid most ... :) especially when I do duels with knights, yeahh monks kill the shooters or the EFKS first .. but the damages of Elves seem too overpower for knights .. :(
for mrwhite: I think for level 11 and up Elves still good in anything, see Kiaune .. :) (sorry)
for X-TheDestiny: Play the faction that u love most ... :) many not changes at all .. like ANtos, Uliss, etc. .. find the best faction following ur deepest heart .. :) |

also, knight are very hard for us to beat if they max out their guardians, even in ambushes. if they max out their crossbows, then we can beat them.
how about playing the elf faction before giving advices? |
| at level 11 I had no enchants at all and caravans become like 25% harder after level up, so your comment is worthless (671) :) unless you get something new, but trees are no good for ambushes at all + I had no 3rd diamond upgrade at level 11. |

| 673- lol - you've misunderstood, I have no intention of judging players - what has happened to you in the first days as a lvl 11 - happens to all players and confirms my comment that elves at lvl 11 are not as good at caravan attacks as they were at lvl 10. |

too bad I haven't worked on a different faction, now it's too late to change.
It's not too late as long as you have patience (maybe you don't, I dunno :P). I only started working on DE 3/4th through level 9 and have got racial 5 so far. It's really quite easy to change to DE. I started wiz through 3/4th way level 10 and got racial 2 so far and I'm certain I can get it up even more when I change back. Wiz is probably the hardest faction to change to at higher levels...I'm not even one of the better players in the game and if I can do it pretty much anyone else can :) |

I should point out that I keep switching back to elf a LOT so the racials would probably be much higher if you decide to stick with your new factions. |
Hi, I have a question about when to start thief guild.
Is it viable to reach TG 2 within 2-3 weeks at level 6 without diamond upgrades (EFK)?
Or should I wait until level 7 or later to start TG? |
I'm not sure for elf at lv6 and 7. I start my TG at lv8.
But for DE, knight and nerc without diamond upg, they can do it.
Of course need some art :) |
