What are the goblins contributing there? All i saw was a single delay. I wondered if the 7% increase in mana cost would mean anything in regards to hypnosis but isn't that an activated ability rather than a spell? |
for virtual_vitrea:
No it's a spell, so the extra mana cost of defile magic pushes it to more mana than they have, so they can never cast it |
I want to field a troop that has high attraction so enemy shooters would fire at first instead of at my frenzied griffins. Which cheap troop would be recommended? |
You can try leprechauns |
Really lost the plot there at the end.

All done. Despite some misgivings on the first day or two, it turned out to be much easier than I thought (given they typically get harder and not easier).
Certainly it seemed very generous with gold, but not going to argue with that!

So its different from temptress's hypnosis skill? |
How to deal with this one? Need shrews for the warriors but the magicians and archers would take out shrews easily.

Yes, both beserker and hypnosis are spells requiring mana (15 and 18 mana). Goblins have defile magic ability that inreases cost of spells cast by creatures. In this case you need 7 goblins to raise mana cost from 15 to 16 and 18 to 19 respectively. So these spells cost more than Sirens mana reserve, thus can not be cast. In fact, 4 goblins would probably suffice if the rounding up kicks in. I am not sure about the rounding though. |
I thought i was going to do worse, interesting event, although time consuming

In essence good meaty troops are your way to go. I tried to be clever and lost twice in this when using no retal strike and return troops. Though safe enough with a crude approach |

4 would be consistent with how they normally do things, I just wanted to be sure |

Thanks for the tip. I used the lizards + wolf raiders combo assisted by Valkyries.

autod event on #2 made like 60k gold profit, only had to use 1 build, and finished event in like 20 mins. win win win. |
for Lord Ragnaros:
Nicely done. I can see that they have huge utility. Those nerfs will increase the survivability of your main troops no end |
did admin just introduce LeG army sets? or was it there for a while and i just didn't notice it since i had not change my army composition in a long time |
Just introduced, very nice qol improvement |

Gee. That's a really novel way of using LeG units. Never thought of them before. They can provide endless genie effects. WOW! |
