Does it matter if it is +2% earth damage or +2% water damage? I basically select one randomly if these two are given as options.
If the unit that's being attacked has immunity to water/earth, then the related bonus will not be applied.
Any suggestion on handling the following PoT necromancer armies? Guess a necromancer won't help here?

(shouldn't gamble on a one-shot kill of the ghoul monster. But still no idea of handling the 10000+ skeleton shooters)

Well. I can't predict what enemy troops to come next. So I guess a random choice would be fine? Or maybe an even distribution to both would be better?
If you are taking sword of cold, better to take fire/air/earth damage I think. In my combats, sword of cold gives 7% water damage and I have acquired 4% water damage but it gives a total bonus of +10.72% water damage instead of +11% so it doesn't stack additively. I think the same applies for flame dagger if you are using it

Event feels hard though lol
Thanks for the information. I do take sword of cold. Will choose the other elemental damages over water damage from now on.

The event is indeed hard. This is only day 4 and I don't feel there is any hope of beating either PoT necro above.

By the way, what does their specialty "holy vulnerability" mean? The description says "takes 20% more damage from holy spells". Aren't all the holy spells blessing ones? Where does "holy spell damage" come from?
I just got 1 PoT faction, but it was on easier side

Those necro PoT definitely seems hard.. skells are hard to kill.

Hmm my 18-3 and your is different

How exactly is damage calculated? "Rules of damage" in About the game only cover base damage and a factor that is based on the difference between attack and defense parameters of the stacks. How are all the other modifiers used (offense talents, melee damage % increase, elemental damage % for different elements?
The event battles are extremely hard now. :(
What happens when you click on give up and move on? Do i lose 1 battle
yes you lose the additional battles
10) Important! Any additional combat stage will be given the option to give up and move on to the next main stage. It will not be possible to undo this decision and go back;
for bp99:
for second one best idea i have is classic knight. griffon dive bomb spam with rapid and just block 11k skels
for - Ulmo -:

there is maximium 100% elemental damage bonus in game. it is diminishing returns from 100% for each source of cold water so for instance you have 3 weapons with 10% water damage bonus, first one applies fully at 10%, second one is applied from remaining 90% so 10% of 90 is 9
10+9 is 19% instead of 20,
3rd weapon is 10% of 81 so 8.1
19+8.1 is 27.1% cold damage from 3x10 water sources nstead of 30%
so in event if you use sword of cold then yes taking other ele% bonuses will be slightly better because of diminishing returns for stacking water bonus. hopefully this helped and was clear enough im not the greatest at explaining how it works.

Thanks, that did help a lot. I still wonder when elemental % are applied.

1. A stack rolls for damage in its range
2. This is multiplied by a factor that depends on the difference between attack and defense.
3. And further multiplied by a factor depending on the opponents faction skill level in your faction
4. And I guess multiplied further by % damage modifiers (talents, bow or sword bonuses, bonuses from this event, ...)

At which point is elemental bonus damage calculated? At the end? After step 3?
Any ideas for this fight https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?warid=1345948675 ?
Necro failed hard, and thta's before I even reached the 9k skeletons.
Tribal once more, as you can see, doesn't work.
for ProZyk: playing tribal into anything with 382 venom units is bad. you HAVE to play necro. i also could see fire dwarf with mass rapid+dof and axceitics for evasion could potentially beat it
for ProZyk:
I think Centaurus is much better in PvE and you should stay in a different corner. Remove tactics and take avoidance, but I don't think that will be enough.

I tried taking Dominion of Frost instead of two morales, and it looks good. Unfortunately, I didn't think of it sooner and lost two waves the previous day. Maybe that could have helped me.
another PoT hunt and a close win.
