Author#Make LWM GreatAgain ! ^_^
As per Maximus (aka the Gladiator): “Are you not entertained?”

Good film. I liked it alot:)
for Óñìåøêà:
Thanks alot for getting back, much appreciate it :)

Taking away benefits of guilds is indeed unfair to the existing players, people did spend tons of time & money to grind those guilds. Perhaps alittle step a time helps improving these conditions.

We already have balanced fights in recent minor tournament and balanced fights twice a day in CG as well. Maybe increasing the occurance of balanced fights will encourage many players get involved in game and stand toe to toe with others (even if it's short duration) will gain positive atmosphere in game. I did mention about other games in my earlier comment, those games are popular and have different play style but there are less dependent on guilds. Ex fortnight, dota2 etc.

Back to topic, few things I feel can help here.

1. Adding English message in game's social media platform updates (like instagram) and adding links to social media posts as part of games announcement (like new event, update etc). If possible in other languages as well. There are lot of english speaking/understanding audience so it helps bring new blood.

2. Adding short introductory video for each faction & guild at game login page as well as in social media platform. Videos are easy to understand and get a glimpse of things rather then the essay at the about the game page. Ofcourse the in depth knowledge can be later found in the help sections.

3. Integrating PvP seasons/ELO rating with donation sale once a month inside game. Daily already has one but if it's added as part of them then it gets much visibility. Introducing competition among players and showing monthly leaderboard attracts some section of players who die to be the top of the world.
I agree with Marquis. Make a Discord server and display it somewhere obvious.

Having a community that is willing to give advice and support will increase retention, although as others have said, the game is quite niche so it'll be quite difficult to convince most people to continue playing.

Normally, the forums would be used for this, but they're quite inactive...
Regarding #2, this is one example video of a civ (kind of faction) in game I have been following more then 10 years. Recently a new version was released and this short video was shared by official clannel.

Something similar helps alot if present in login page and social media platforms.
Tutorials sound like a good idea, yet there is not enough manpower to implement it. And as I’ve mentioned previously, it can be initiated by one of the existing players. Admins already have enough on their plate with coding.
No one is going to want to do this for free.

As for the “official discord” idea I would have to say it is only inviting illegal activity by promoting outside messaging services that can’t be monitored by admins. -1
for Dennis0000:
For #3, yes there are other ways of increasing wealth but new joiners start with nothing.
Do you think that if so to say a "better" starter pack would improve the situation aka "wooden sword"? Or maybe introducing some quests which would grant players with some better weapons in the beginning would do the trick?

when they simply wanna enjoy PvP
I've noticed that for most of the Lords in this forum feed PvP is so valuable... why do you guys fixate your attention on one segment of the game when there are so many more other interesting activities going on?

If the admins prefer to reward those who can play 24/7
I believe that this is true to everything in live, not just in the gaming realm. Every employer would prefer an employee he is "stuck" in the office, hehe
for latviesu lords:
if i want to have any damn fun in pvp.
Could you please tell me what is the hype about PvPs among english speaking community? haha

Good film. I liked it alot:)
One of my top favs ! And the music... Hans Zimmer must have sold his soul to the devil, haha!

Glad if I could be of some help ^_^

Maybe increasing the occurrence of balanced fights will encourage many players get involved in game
I like this idea !

1. Adding English message in game's social media platform updates
Can be discussed

2. Adding short introductory video for each faction & guild at game login
Upon login a player can get a chance to conduct a battle for a faction of his/her choice. I know that it's not enough to get to know even the basics, yet it is something. Let me think about the intro video... how long do you think it should be and which features it should cover? Add me in Skype/Discord for further discussion if you will ;)
https://youtu.be/ehVm70_Onn0 This is a great video for a game that has a bit more "moving elements" than ours.. how would you make an intro video about a game of chess? haha

3. Integrating PvP seasons/ELO rating with donation sale once a month inside game.
Let's further discuss it. "You had my curiosity, now you have my attention.

I think admins can be more generous in granting gold to players, especially new joiners. Giving 10 - 20k for them to start the game wouldn't hurt; Increasing the gold reward after levelling up would be good too, at least give players more than enough to build the necessary castles, etc.; Granting xxx amount of gold for players who reach certain threshold of activities would also be nice. In short, players shouldn't have to enroll for 3 days for them to play what they like, most would already lose interest by that time imo.

why do you guys fixate your attention on one segment of the game when there are so many more other interesting activities going on?
this is the best segment of the game imo, unfortunately it's also the most demanding one in terms of stats (if you dun wanna get run over by some stat monsters). WG, AG, HG, MG, TG are basically repeating the same quests against bots, i don't see how that can be comparable with PvP. It feels more like a chore than a game. I don't believe people do it because they enjoy them, but because they want the stats to play competitively in PvP.

To many of us PvP is the purpose of this game. Most the time the guild battles are just a necessary hassle we avoid until we need the stats.

Me and other guys i know like competative game mode.
Points will be in random order.
1. Its kinda dynamic compared to other guilds
2. Teaming up with someone and taking donw other players.
3. Its this games competative mode, where you show of your skills and tactical ability, knowledge, creativity.
4. You get to meet new people. Maybe fellow country man if you are not from Russia or Ukraine.
5. You could team up with friends in past and have that kind of fun aswell.
6. Journey of getting better at pvp.
There are more but i cant think of any right now.
I have been playing this game from what 2009/2010.
Even back then group battles with buddies was my thing. Just do few hunts and enrolls so can buy amulet of luck and spam GB. Then reroll once reach level5 lol.
for Óñìåøêà:
Regarding introductory video, 30-60 seconds video is sufficient to grab the attention of a new player. If it's followed by a trail fight then it's added bonus. Guilds need some video as well to make new players understand how they works and what are there respective advantages.

Someone working for daily already does intresting videos about game, something similar should be fine.

Regarding rating, games like fortnight, pubg has something called season/battle pass. At the start of season the rating of all players is reset to a starting point (default), as the players gains games/get more wins the rating improves. There are levels in this rating system and after reaching each level player gets some gift.

Omen has created great elo rating in daily but it doesn't have much visibility and not integrated into game.

It integration would not only keep players engaged, it would also be good source of income.
Anyway please tell me one game with pvp that isn’t the most popular mode to play. Do you think people buy call of duty for the story lines or zombies? Sure there are some players who only enjoy those modes but let’s be honest. It’s because they can’t play pvp well.
So why is pvp so important? Because I believe cg is the only guild that would kill this game if it was removed.
I don't care for pvp at all, I am not a competitive person and I don't like competitions at all.

Not everyone for pvp here, I am glad that I can have my fav game wherever with out having to install it, apart from my pc of course.
I like grinding for the sake of grind.

Even if you give a bazooka for starters they will mess up if they are very young, this game has an adult mentality and progress.

I agree that waiting makes me play less, I have time this couple of hours to burn in the game, losing a battle won't make me continue play as much as I wish and can, will most probably go and do something else than waiting.

For the scripts I mean admins to adapt them in the game for good, not having the page linked or use scripts at all after that they "merge"(?) them in to the game.
for Another Player:
Make a Discord server and display it somewhere obvious.
Lack of control with whatever is happening in Discord can't make it official .. therefore it is purely gamers' own initiative to unite, hehe
P.S. my Skype login is ysmewka and Discord link is https://discord.gg/28F3sDxd (oh may I not be punished for sharing it, haha!)

True that, yet Empire has gold and players have cravings ^_^ name the price!

for Dennis0000:

I'm afraid that too much gold wouldn't incite players to find ways to earn their living by grinding or "inputting codes", hence "teach a man to fish..."
I don't believe people do it because they enjoy them,
I am absolutely crazy when it comes to MG's raids, haha. Truly fixated and totally mad about it. Weird? I guess >_>

for lord fallen and latviesu lords:

I will look into it! Thanks !

for Calamity:

Have you checked out the mobile version? It's lit ! So much more user friendly than before !
For the scripts I mean admins to adapt them in the game for good
I'm not sure that these can be adapted/implemented/merged into the game cause of their unofficial origin. I will see what I can do about it, but I wouldn't get the hopes up...
Hans Zimmer

Hans Zimmer is my love! :D

Especially Time and Interstellar.
for virtual_vitrea:
Hans Zimmer is my love! :D
+
My Spotify is like 20% of Hans Zimmer, haha!
for Óñìåøêà:
tell me one of his compositions you like. I am curious.
Back on topic please. For personal conversations please PM each other. Rest will be deleted from now on.

I like the reddit idea, we can try to pitch it? No idea to how it works thou. Something with a populair account gets more views? Or?

Are admins willing to pay for advertisements? Have they done it in the past (for .com I mean)? Small/large budget?
