Too bad this event relies heavily upon whether you are lucky or not to get your shooter units during the first day to be able to build it out on second day, otherwise you are allready out of the competition.
And the 10 second roaming really cuts into the gameplay, they can make this an instant but hey why not irritate the players instead by making them wait for sometimes even over a dozen of these 'roaming' times before they do a battle. That there is part of why during events there is only 5k people around instead of the close to 10k well over 2 years ago. It also factors in the 418 players donating during the spring promotion which is still like 10% of the people left donating. I guess admins just love the slippery slope. |
Not really Lawton, I remember someone last time using a full might melee build.
And to me I like the 10 seconds, build suspense :P |

This game has a lot of elements that are purpose built to frustrate.
Some psychologist must have told them that regular doses of frustration are important for player rentention. |
sadly lost chieftans in 2 day
I don't get you, you already found 40 commanders. |
i didnt get what he meant either :D |
Because I'm lazy I made this, may be useful for others

If you look at earlier battles he had chieftains, however they died so he had to get some more |
for Lord MilesTeg:
my top100 run is over probably wasted sum attacks in main.
maybe in second acc i will get in top100 |
any1 knows how much spent silver adds towards final result...like 100 silver gives x army strenght |
for markec111:
As far as I know, silver doesn't add to your total result. With silver you updates unit and those updated unit value more. |
It does add to army strength and it is a set amount. I don't remember the exact figure from last time but you can work it out after you upgrade something.
The points gained is directly proportional to the amount spent |
Through some calculations (thanks to mesh) of my recent upgrade.
It's 1 point for every 50 silver spent |
It's 1 point for every 50 silver spent
Wow, that's a lot. It appears that for the purpose of increasing that army strength number, which doesn't necessarily correspond to how strong your army is, you'd get much better results if you go for silver instead of troops. I can easily get over 20K of silver, worth 400 points, per battle, whereas troops only earn me only about 150 points per battle. |
That is why it is best to focus troops for 1st 2 days then silver once you have a comfortable army |
for Omar Contreras:
you earn more silver later on. meanwhile you can still do decent with non upgrades shooters |

almost over 3.9k army now without any upgrades and 0 silver. |
Ammassed 410 bowman. Upgrading just those will be a drag. |
This the only event when alts regularly influence the top 100. Not sure if it is really within the spirit of how alts are meant to be used, since effectively it gives people two tries.
Purported reason for alts "3.10. It is allowed to create additional characters to familiarize yourself with features of other factions. "
I am not saying anyone doing so is wrong, it is within the rules, nor should people be stopped from trying out with alts. Though I think perhaps alts should not be featured at the very very top.
In esports you are not allowed to compete in the same competition with 2 different accounts, I think this is similar. |
i only use my alt account to play events if they any fun othherwise they just collect dust. |
for latviesu lords:
That's fair enough, you've done nothing wrong and there are no hard feelings from me to any individual that uses their alts in that way. I think however it is a loophole that mostly is not an issue in events, though is more noticeable in this one. However, allowing people to use them to practice and try out is reasonable, if you allow this, then you cannot prevent them from competing and doing well in any automated or clear process. What I am proposing would require direct personal intervention and so realistically is not something likely to be imposed by the admins. |
