Thanks a lot meshy, missed the battle |
I feel AI is focusing more on huts, towers and peasants more than last time...
Yeah I've even experienced AI shooting peasants as the first thing they do :D Or a healthy stack of lizards murdering 200 lumberjacks when vamps were right in front of their eyes. Don't know, maybe I'm reading AI wrong or maybe just doing a poor job at covering the dumb peasants, or maybe they did something to make the robbers mad at them this time around |
grif you going which type of barb ?
shadow barbar |
and any tips regarding the tower upgrades ?
2 towers fully upgraded |
Population: 4,120
Resources: 536
Victories / Combats: 48 / 48 |
for grif:
are there any good ways to prevent the shooters attack your tower? |
shooters destroy my towers immediately, so frustrating |
I need some tips about how to play this event with elf.
I am doing really bad. Sometime it looks unbeatable. Any suggestions? |
Grif can you post a recent battle, it would be interesting to see what the size of your armies are. My feelings are that the increase in difficulty is such that if you stay ahead of the curve with regard to tower stats and population (and therefore resource earning potential) then you can grow your towers at a rate proportional to the increase in difficulty. However, if you get behind that curve then you keep on investing in repairing buildings and towers and your population stays small (therefore earning less resources). Once this has kicked in, I am not sure you can realistically reverse it and get back ahead. |
I forgot to mention that I think either win rate or total resources earned is a factor in the difficulty equation for setting the enemy army strength. As such if you win with a low population, or while having to invest resources in Rosie then the difficulty may increase by a similar amount to someone with a perfect win, but the increase in your towers is by less. As such incrementally over time you will get to a point of not being able to win, while perfect win person keeps up there perfect wins. |

My 20th win/combat, sitting on about 1.3k population. |
The griffins could have gone for your Cyclops, instead they killed peasants. |
Wow meshy u have no tower still! Surely you don't intend to go on like that for all? Difficulty will still increase (I believe), but your army strength will not, until you reach a point where you lose. Granted better to save till you can put on a tower with some decent abilities, but I presume you will have saved enough for that |
Gonna see how long I can hold out with no tower. Impossible for me to go for a high score because in more or less every battle, they go for my peasants instead of troops. |
Your result:
Population: 1,322
Resources: 2,381
Victories / Combats: 21 / 21 |
Bad second day where I lost 3 as a dwarf was costly then switched to shadow barb. Much easier to win, though all too often I am losing my buildings or peasants, as such leaking resources and low population.
Population: 1,416
Resources: 79
Victories / Combats: 43 / 48
Parts of "Imperial shield": 16 |
Vulnerable to full attack builds with lots of ranged (I guess I need higher magic guilds as do not have access to mass weakness etc to reduce damage output)
This is my last loss

Guys i am with 1968 population with 12 battles.
Am I missing something here ?
I noticed meshy has 1322 with 21 battles.
Is collecting resources significant in this event or we can keep upgrading towers as we get resource.
Population will he the winning number in the end, right ? |
