All in all, it's annoying to wait 5 minutes between attacks. It would be better to have a pool of 300 attacks to use whenever we want (60/5*24 makes 288).

There should be more alternatives.
The reason i didn't even bother to play the event is because we are being expected to wait 5 mins and i find this very ridiculous. Imagine you have something else to do, you have a real life thing to attend to.. but you get 2 hours to play, but with this system you can only play 120/5 = 24 battles maximum. In that many battles, you do not even get to the level where it starts to become fun. Oh and for even that you have to become a freak staring at the timer for 2 hours.
It really isn't a contest of speed which should have been the case for a 1 day event, its a contest of patience and priority. | I played all of the Halloween events. The best one was in 2012, when we got massive exp in battles. Looking in the achievement in my profile, I got 4M+ with only 72 battles. It was a lot of fun, and in the very end the squashman was strong enough to defeat the highest CLs with enchants. (as we were still in .com back then, the highest CL was 16 I think, and the standard for enchanted was a sword and a bow :P) After 2012, admins reduced the rate that the squasman gets exp. I'll make a small comparision.
Year - nº of battles - exp - average exp per battle - result
2012 - 72 battles - 4,1kk - 57k/battle - silver
2013 - 171 battles - 1M exp - 6k/battle - gold
2014 - 107 battles - 310k exp - 2,9k battle - gold
The difference between 2012 and 2013 is huge, even though I played much more in 2013. Imo, if they were to re-use the event again next year, they could increase the exp gain, it is much more fun and faster to level up the squasman. The only problem is that not so much players would spend the 50k gold then :P | It was my first event of Halloween, being in this game with the new profile for a month.
As I have never played Halloween in any of the profiles before, I think it was good one.
