| yeah i know as well :) its that trophy, in my view it shouldnt be there because with it winning is lees to do with skill more to do with if people forget about you, or think your rubbish :) |
| i dont think trophy changes anything, i mean in my last battle, there was a knight with 90% cup thing and he still won... |

| the trophy does change things, when there is a high % most people tend to concentrate on them, but statistically it doesn't change anything :) |

Whenever Equipment type is standard u can take enchanted arts in them but it wont have any effect in the battle :) |
the trophy definitely changes the dynamics of the game.
whenever i have higher than 60% on the trophy at least 2 ppl gang up on me and no one will back me up.
other than that i would definitely have won a lot more .... :(

| I was coming second last but then they started killing the elf who killed my centaurs while i waited and tried to kill the rouges. Soon elf died and now DE is being slaughtered. The other 2 tribals who are controlling the game are killing him. I hope they start fighting after kiling minotaurs. I can come first |
| well its nice to see that there are so many teams in an everyone for yourself battle lol. At least elves and wizards help each other unlike DE and Necro who will stab each other in the back for an extra point. But this is yet another tourny not meant for might DE, but still fun :) |
so far i haven't seen a non-backstabbing elf!!!!
DE casters and knights(except one of them who was extremely dishonorable!) are usually nice and will stick to their alliances till the end, dwarfs, barbs, wizards, necros and might DEs, ... i've seen both backstabbers and honorable ppl. and all of the demons, elfs and tribals i've seen so far have been backstabbers, they switched sides every couple of turn!!!
specially those tribals, as soon as they gain a couple of spirit levels, they get cocky and start attacking friend or foe alike!!! and usually they end up going out first :P

| i know what you mean, i just went against 2 knights that sudenly decided to kill me, but the most anoying thing is the independence, i made up a small blockade protecting my xbows and because of independence my griffins just flew away :( |
.. and start attacking friend or foe alike as long as you realise that you have NO friends in these fights and that everyone is your foe then amazingly no one can backstab you anymore.
It is a pity that shooters can't be protected properly because of "independence" though. Would have been better if this was triggered for players doing low damage (cumlative for all troops) rather than for individual stacks. Would have made dynamics a lot more interesting.

here's where you're wrong. as human beings, we try to create alliances based on the ideas that the friend of my enemy is my enemy and the enemy of my enemy is my friend (if someone doesn't feel this way, he seriously need to seek mental assistance, because he is a Sadist by clinical definition!!!).
obviously no-one is naive enough to believe that such alliances are to last, the ultimate goal in an EOFO battle is individual victory.
when i say backstabbing, i'm talking about ppl who would attacking their "ally" just because they can (even though it wouldn't have any significant benefit for them), for example assume a scenario where there are 3 players left and one of them is going to win the battle no matter what, but without any reason starts attacking the guy that helped him win the game in the first place !!! |
