grats to lel 6 players fr winning 6 medals and competing against DU |
There are 7 medalists in level 6
3-2-2
one guy has russian name but also has a volcano
Also among the list, except for a silverist and a bronzist, all others had DU |
I have analysed the .com wizard results in the 100th ST.
Listed are:
*Combat level
*gold silver bronze incentive
*total players getting incentive
*difference in FSL (faction skill level) between the ST winner and the first .com player
* bonus from reaching CG (commander's guild) level 2 or level 4 (only significant from CL 13)
* # position of the first .com player if you ignore higher FSL players: how does the first .com player compete against players of his own FSL? (didn't check CL 3-8)
3-0000- 18 +0*
4-0001-21 +0
5-0003-21 +1
6-1001-17 -2**
7-0000-17 +0
8-0000-14 +2
9-0003-16 +1 #5
10-0000-13 +0 #21
11-0001-13 +1 #3
12-0000-14 +0 #16
13-0000-11 +2 +1 #2
14-0000-11 +2 +1 #1
15-0000-8 +1 +0 #2
16-0000-4 +1 +1 #1
17-0000-1 +2 +2 #1
* couldn't find a .com player
** Lord Zehir, our gold medal winner, is two levels higher than the second (third...) .ru player
Conclusions:
* Only one medal and 9 incentives.
* Combat level 12 players and higher have won nothing.
* the faction skill level gap is very real, and (to my surprise) even on lower levels.
* It should be noted that faction skill level directly influences the 2 wizard specials: mini-arts and damage to neutrals. An FSL bonus makes a wizard a lot stronger in ST.
* .com wizards don't stand a chance to win a medal, unless their FSL is equal to/higher than the better ST players.
* Higher level . com wizards are further hampered by the CG bonus. |

admins have to do something. this gap destroys all the fun. : (( |
@dariel
great job mate |
Wow, a lot of work here. Thanks!
We can all look at the results and shake our heads but nothing will happen. The truth is, the admin(s) don't care. In their grand picture, we are just noise. Now we have events, a lot of them. So, let's enjoy the defeats! That's our gift for merging.

@dariel
It was a sad...sad...thing, that duel tourney, for .com wizards. |
@dariel
Great job thanks
I want to add that dariel is one of the best competitor wizards in ST
But I don't understand how Higher level . com wizards are further hampered by the CG bonus ?
can you explain please?
@limustudotcom
For duel I think that too much poeple have anti fsp wizard
I would like to bring mini arts with money no more for free
they should also review the wizard faction abilities because they downgraded it too much
especially costs of talents: as wizard we should have magic schools less expensive |
@ Lord samlonewolf: If you reach CG level 2,4,5 or 6 you get +1 primary skill (bonus as in Merc guild):so, +1 attack, defence, knowledge or wisdom.
15 extra mana (or even 30) is, as you know, a massive advantage for a wizard in any ST.
@ limustudotcom: I watched some battles... as I expected, .com wizards are too weak against .ru in every respect. There was no fsl 11 wizard on .com, we are too far behind.
I have to use suicide tactics in ST to get somewhat close to those fsl 11 and fsl 10 wizards, and the new orb system probably won't help (though I like the idea as such a lot). |
thanks Dariel
I am inline with you |

true
thanks dariel for your work |
