The art silver partisan wasnt banned because of its cost. it was banned only because of the huge advantage it gives forjust 2 AP. No other arts give such adv for such small increase in AP.
Advantage to whom? Are some characters at level 5 and above forbidden to use it, and some not?

May people forbid them or give them another ap value. You are free to disagree with Vlaer, but this decision does make sense to many people in LWM. And I think it will also help the event.
Funny that you didn't ban those gender-specific weapons (which would give one gender an advantage over the other), but single out this weapon that's useable by everyone.
Instead of chastise him for missing some possible gaps in the rules why not bring his attention to them in an nice polite way.
But you are right that there could be issues with some gender artefacts and I do suggest that Vlaer also take a look into them to make as balanced battles as possible.

It would only be arbitrary rules if there where no reasoning behind them, which there is. You may not agree but other can see them and have requested them. So calling them arbitrary is an mistake. |

Hmm well as far as I'm concerned normal shop arts give better or the same value for AP as the gender specific ones. So... who cares? |

I didn't make the rules for myself, I changed it because I was unaware of it and someone informed me about it. The mere purpose behind it was to make the tourney as fair as possible.
