I wouldn't use Fury with EFK though... unless I had a sufficient stack of sprites to make it worth it. |
which talent and recruiting is best for tournaments fr 9th lvl? |
And shall i increase my mana? |
I'll answer your second question first ;) You do not need much mana until level 10. However, at level 10 I would suggest that you have at least 40 mana to summon with. I personally enjoy much more than that ;p I suppose it depends on your play style.
Keep in mind that Wasp Swarm can save you as well! Even with no Nature Talent, a timely cast WS can give you that one extra turn you need. So even at level 9, perhaps 1 point in Knowledge would be useful.
Talents and Recruiting... hmm... I think Luck and Rally would be the most useful for you. If you are using Sprites, perhaps replace Rally with Battle Fury. When you recruit, I think max bows and EFK would be best at level 9. I can see Sprites being very useful... though any creature that is relatively quick could easily kill them before they could do enough damage. If you feel it is necessary, you could cut down the number of bows you have to make room for a decent stack of sprites (20 or so perhaps?) Though those Sprites will not be quite as useful without Battle Fury.
Druids for Stoneskin. Keep them in one stack so they can at least do some damage. Max out your Uni as well. This kind of set up should leave you with un-maxed Druids only. If you decide to add Sprites, your bows will not be maxed as well.
As for strategy: move bows to corner, cover with Druids and proceed to treat it like a hunt. Kill whatever gets close to your bows... stay out of range of whatever is approaching. Also, save shots wherever possible and keep track of waves (Tournament Forum) so you can set your Avenger's Guild appropriately :)
I hope this has helped. If anyone would like to make further suggestions or counterpoints feel free ;) |

Talents and troops depend on the combat you have. At level 9 you start to have choices (not so many, but enough to start playing with the options). For PvP you can find in my combat log some examples. Take a look and choose what fits to you (also, strategy and so on). For hunts and so on, you can have a look in the "record book".
(Please, do not consider me as reference player. Instead, you can start with my knowledge and develop a better strategy.) |
Bump to keep this thread alive. No need for a new one. I apologize to the moderators for this post. |

talents: battle fury and basic luck
Trops: 48EFK, 27Spirites, 7uni, 16bow and 7druids (in stacks for 2, 2 and 3) for SS and for retal. |
That actually doesn't sound bad for level 9... but Sprites are way too easy to kill for PvP. Not only that but you leave yourself with no strong attackers. Full EFk and Uni might be better. I remember Uni outlasting most troops in PvP at level 9.
Though you're right about druids. Generally only good for ss until you get Anchorites. |
thx friends i came 3rd in 26th survival tournament
I choose: 30 sprites,48efk,16bow,9druids and 7uni
Talent: Advanced offense and battle fury :D |
Grats harddude :D
I just became level 13 yesterday. I didn't think it would be this different.
I'm experimenting with Talents... there are quiet a few combinations to choose from. The best that seems to fit my play style is Rally, Basic Nature and Expert Luck. With this I only have 3 phantoms I can summon instead of 5 like I used to. I used to use phantoms for blocking to give GMB more chances to shoot in hunts; it seemed to be a decent way to make up for the lack of attack points... but now I can't do that. Though I can't complain about 7 more EFK xD |

it is rare to bring all first 5 tier creatures to hunt IMO, and less phantoms grant you a few more points on attack. I only do 5 phantoms in STs. |
Congratulations again, ipslne!
I am using in combats against AI only 3 phantoms at maximum. Sometimes, I do not reach to make those 3 phantoms or it's not necessary. Even in ST I stay with 4 phantoms because for 6 anchorites I do not waste 18 mana points and the trees are not worth for a phantom. Anyway, you can use anchorites to get the fourth phantom if you really need it. :)
Just don't forget to move the points from knowledge in attack when you do PvP (I use 2 points of knowledge only in PvP). |
to hardude : at level 5 - 9 .. u just need mana to bless ur EFKS or bowmen 1 - 2 knowledge is enough .. no need spell power .. :) |
#71-72
I'm finding that 3 phantoms is certainly enough. Not needing Erudition is nice, but I still have relatively low Attack. I also don't want to start using PoOs. I'm unable to do many of the green hunts in min arts... so I may have gone wrong somewhere xD Either in my recruit, stats or talents.
As for PvP, I play with Holy talents... so I depend on the mana and spellpower ;)

Without spell power, Bless becomes very situational... .5 turns is rarely enough for a Holy spell. Not to mention, and unskilled Bless (no Holy talents) is not very useful :\ I think Wasp Swarm is a better use of the mana. Even at no skill it at least has some knockback. |

It might not be your problem that "unable to do many of the green hunts in min arts", just because those top hunters used too many powerful enchanted arts..
As for PvP, DU rules everything. :P But anyway holy build is better than pure attack. |
Yep, agree with GGGG.
The color dots are deceiving. Just look at the knight records at my level (14). With Surim (270 hunt records !) and DARYGEO using 3-4 max enchanted arts for their records, a green dot hunt is sometimes undoable even in full arts ! haha.. |
o_o dang. That's all new to me. I mean, the worst ones are slow hunts (Zombies, Farmers, etc...). The hit and run with Sprites equipped with Enchanted arts makes a huge difference in possible damage... leaving a gap between red+ and green hunts. But there are still a few hunts that are green that seem very doable but I barely lose each time. Especially ranged hunts. Don't quite know what I do wrong in those.
Actually that's a good question. Any tips for ranged hunts at level 13? My old strategy was block with melee troops (especially trees) and phantoms, then raise and approach with dead bows.
Doesn't work so well anymore, I die too quick xD |

If the hunts purely rely on bowmen and ancho, I usually use 4 stacks of sprites and the trees to block. If they die too fast, phantoms of bowmen and ancho can be used to block as well.. if still not enough... maybe consider bring more arts :P |
