How can i win this battle against fairies ? Please, help me
https://www.lordswm.com/warlog.php?warid=484809016
thx |
for Ndu:
1.you had no sprites to keep up with the faeries
2.no magic from your hero
3.letting your eb get attacked was pretty much the end
you should focus on 1 stack at a time with your range units, when their weakened enough, then the fk should step into play |
tq^^ |
Maybe u know that MasterTi have accepted my chalenge ^^, so my question is
till date of duel i will be level 11 , what tactic i should use , we will be fighting on min AP so his shrews will not get my bows quick enough i was thinking about putting bigger amount of bows and druids then sprites , unic i efk , what u think elfs? |
#546:
I think you have no chance for the following reasons:
1. Elf at min AP is one of the weakest factions.
2. At level 12, every player builds the citadel (50% more troops instead of 25% more troops at fort level).
3. Dark Elf got more shrews while Elf got more unicorns and treefolks (initiative+attack vs. hit points).
4. More talent points and more primary skill points.
5. Faction reduction damage.
Not to speak about higher tier troops than yours.
So, it does not matter your troops alteration. His shrews will reach your archers in the first turn (or beginning of the second turn the latest). Sprites are useless. EFK's and unicorns are your main attacking troops (archers will be pretty dead). It's up to you, but I would suggest you to increase your level before you go for such a suicidal duel.
Good luck! (you will need it!) |
Im still leveling up mate, the thing is that on min ap he will not reach my bows with 8 speed , if it would be full ap he will use thief set and im dead meat in 1 turn , what you suggest ? |
the thing is that on min ap he will not reach my bows with 8 speed
Tactics talent solve this.
Even if he cant't reach your bows on first turn, shrews + lizards will crush you before you can move. |
lol.....is he seriously thinking he got a chance to win O_o...... |
no but i like people who think that i can win ^^ , im just trying to entertaint crowd ^^ |
I am going to level up to level 7.Which would b the best talent set up for me?
a)Basic Leadership/Rally
b)Basic/Advanced Fortune
? |
I am a magic elf and I am asking another magic elf on the issue of which talent.
Current Talent Build:
Basic Fortune
Basic Holy Magic
Dominion of Wrath
Knowledge with arts is 4 and without arts is 3
Spell power is 4 with and without arts
I rely heavily on magic.
Any suggestions for talent or S.P and K? |
hi all.
Somebody can tell-me what is the best talents for thieving at lv 11? |
hi
can someone tell me which option should i go for
i can go for unicorn right now
or i have to arrange for 6000 gold more and upgrade to elite forest keeper
i have become a lvl 8 just now |
for abhisek:
Ideally you should have both, but I find that generally elite forest keepers are more useful overall. |
well, ok
then i should go for elite first and when i arrange for more gold i will upgrade castle for unicorns
thanx |
For Moonhunter:
Talents depend on the type of combat and on your opponent (in case of AI).
For Santremus:
Magic Elf is good as combat support character. I suggest Might Elf for the rest.
For Vengeful:
Same as for level 10.
Good luck all! |
bump, to keep the Topic alive |
An interesting debate I have seen amongst all factions is the Might over Magic character build. I'd like to bring it up in this thread to see my fellow Elves' opinion.
I'll begin with my two cents.
The Might Elf requires strong Attack to offset their low defenses. Low base defense means putting points into your Defense would not do enough justice to your troops. All level-up points should be put into Attack until level 8, at which point you will need to allocate points to your Knowledge in preparation for Summon Phantom. Your main sources of Defense will come from your Druid's Stoneskin -- which becomes more important as you are able to recruit more Dru -- and, of course, your Arts.
Your basic Hunting Talents should revolve around Luck, Rally; and if you are using Sprites, Battle Fury. Basic Nature is a necessity after you construct Magic Guild 3; unless you are battling any Chaos Magic users.
In general, the best strategy for Elf is to hit hard in the beginning with your bows and kill the smaller stacks with your keepers. Of course, slow units can easily be kited (hit and run) with Sprites or Fae. "Slow" means that the creature has Initiative below 10 (preferably below 9) and Speed below 6 (preferably 4). This means that Treefolk are not considered slow creatures. Speed 6 makes it very difficult to kite with Sprites, especially when there are many stacks.
The Magic Elf is not too different in general battle strategy; but will rely on Spells for Attack. Defense can be handled the same as a Might Elf, but I would not suggest relying on your Hero's Stoneskin spell when your Druids can cast it decently (and Anchorites even better). Even though you will not truly be a Magic Elf until after level 8, you will want to prepare early. By the time you are level 10 you will want at least 40 mana, and by level 12 at least 2 spell power; so allocate accordingly.
Your Talents will be the same as a Might Elf until level 9 (at level 8 you cannot afford Holy Talents in place of Luck). At 9 or 10 you can find your best combination of Holy Talents. I would recommend Dominion of Wrath for mass Chastise and Rapid spells. Erudition is also a good choice to add a couple points to Knowledge and/or Spell Power. With these types of builds you can still put a point in Luck. It would still be a good idea to get another point in luck through Arts.
Needless to say, a Magic Elf is more of a supporting role in any group hunt or PvP. On their own they can be powerful when casting the right spells at the right time. Even though I personally have dabbled in Holy magic, I am holding off until level 12 or 13 to really give it a go. At that point I should have enough talent points to pull it off effectively. |
