Even as elf I often play holy build in them. For pirate I go ranged build with elf taking gmb and anchors, I would say you could try taking clerics and x-bows with guardians for 25% ranged guard and also you should probably try to go defence build taking expert defence+avoidance+vitality if you consider taking max x-bows. | Is knight good at higher levels? I'm asking this because I'm thinking of potentially switching over to dwarf once I'm lvl 10 (frontier ursary seem pretty OP), I assume that's not too late to change? I've watched a few battles of players that are higher levels than me and dwarves seem to absolutely dominate with things like runes, frontier ursary, dreadbanes, etc whilst knights seem a bit weak and end up relying completely on guardians once their griffins are dead.
I know that this is probably all about preference but some insight from other players would be really handy.

In level 14, the top ranks are all wizards and DEs. Actually, if you know what sort of opponent you will face- it is possible to alter your build to accommodate anything. Get shooters for tribal- etc. But against blinded opponents, I am lucky if I can just get a 50% win ration- at least up to level 14. | | + | | + | +
