I'm saying it's evidence that as a moderator she lacks the requisite judgment to execute her duties in a sufficient manner. This is in support of the complaints already filed against her by Kotrin for bans against Sven, Cooun, and ZenoMX. I've seen no prohibition against supporting evidence anywhere in the initial posting or in the forum rules, so I have provided it.
And since you felt the need to point out it was "my rules breach", let's be complete and say that it was mine, Modi's, Edwin1908's, and Elven_lord's. I pointed out the conversation and tried to provide evidence of it. Modi, Edwin1908, and Elven_Lord participated in the actual conversation. My actions were a mistake, and not well-thought out... but at least I didn't use a derogative homosexual reference to refer to a moderator, nor did I cheer on others when they did.
As for the other insults noted above against mods, I'd agree that most should have been removed, but since nearly all of them came from Limustudotcom and you, I imagine that would have been used to further fuel your arguments against the current mod staff at that time. I suppose mine could have been removed without issue though. | 501 posts -- new milestone. Should we stretch to 1000? And no word back from Arctic...
This whole thread is so much non-sense! Instead of dealing with the complaints against the mods themselves, Arctic/admins have just created this endless-bickering pit in which everyone can pour their venom in. And which will never be read/taken into account by anyone with due weight/authority.
I'd say stop the bickering -- none but you yourselves will read them.
This is a game! Go have some fun, kill some monsters, do some quests, ambush some poor travelers, duel each-other, play some cards.

When I have posted about an abuse I have provided evidence in each case (where it was not deleted by the mods involved) and done so in a constructive manner.
I have already said publically that I do not agree with or condone the actions of others involved in this episode and personally feel that all involved should have received punishments over it. I ask again as you avoided answering in previous post:
What abuse are you accusing Queen_Amanda of over your rule breach?

I have a further complaint to make though about moderators abusing their powers.
A couple of days ago I posted a perfectly legal post in a thread created by Chakkal2001 to congratulate Rutiger on levellign up. I do not know who but one of our present moderators has illegally deleted my post together with those of quite a few others.
I am asking for this moderator to come forward and explain their actions. | Read my first paragraph again in post #501... the answer to your question is there. I did not avoid it, I answered quite clearly.

But in post #500 you agreed that almost all were insulting, off-topic, and should have been removed.
Well, there has been plenty of flaming, bashing, and insulting of the mods already, as noted in #484. All those came long before this thread was revived, they were just from the first 7 pages of this thread.
Yes and they were almost all off-topic and should have been removed. Just because someone else does something wrong does not mean we should all copy them.
Did you not recognize your own words? I quoted them directly and even supplied post numbers. Make up your mind, either agree with me or argue with me... I can't keep track if you do both over the same topic ;-)
I imagine that now you will want to go back and dissect each of the items I listed and prove that it wasn't an insult or derogatory, despite already agreeing that it was. Please do, but don't expect a response since I'm content that you already agreed once ;-)

I agree that there have been been many insulting/flaming/bashing/offtopic posts in this thread. I have also made it clear that I have not made any of them. Where is the contradiction in this?
I hate making assumptions but as you will not answer the questions about what you originally brought up. I am assuming that you have no edvidence that Queen_Amanda abused her postion as a chat moderator over your breach of game rules which is why you can not post proof of any such abuse.
If you have something on-topic to say here then please reply, if not can I suggest you use private mail rather than just attempt to camoflage the real posts in this thread?

As all your posts have really done is cover up my very valid questions while adding absolutely nothing to this discussion I will ask them again here:
1) Around the 15th of April Pang deleted quite a number of G&C threads which broke no rules! Why?
2) Yesterday or Today my legal and valid post in a congratulations thread for Rutiger was deleted by an unknown moderator! Who was this and why? | | LOL! read 501 one more time... the answer is there. That you can't or won't see it doesn't change the fact that it is there. Since no one else seems to have any issue seeing it or understanding it, I have to assume I made my point sufficiently clear and you are merely being obstinate because you wish to argue. - Administrators should be present and should guide the moderators and the community by example and wisdom.
- Moderators should stay cool, be consistent and do their duty in a fair way
- Players should consider their post before posting, they shouldnt provoke confrontation with Administration or Moderation Team, they should play the game and enjoy themselves.

The use of common sense is lost since this thread exist and a bit before.
I would request to All players, moderators and administrators to think, read, reread your post/reason to ban before pressing send. This little minute you take on doing so should save about hours of discussion like this one.
- If you think your post has chances of being seen as rule breaking, DONT POST.
- If you think your ban reason has chances of being seen as abuse of power, DONT BAN with that Reason
- If you see multiple infractions of the same rule, applies the rule to all
- If players see an infraction of a rule, PM a moderator
- If people can start thinking instead of acting like Chickens with head, this forums would go WAY better.

No actual *evidence* regarding Queen_Amanda abusing her position in this paragraph.

Well that was the whole of Post # 501. Maybe it's just me but I can't see any *evidence* regarding Queen_Amanda's alleged abuse of her powers.
Perhaps you enlighten me as to where this evidence is Slynky? There's only 3 paragraphs. Maybe you could tell me the paragraph number and the sentence where this evidence may be found. Perhaps it;s in another post. Just give me the post number and I'll find it and post it for DEATHisNEARs benefit, since you don;t want to spend the time doing so.

However you may recall that Forum Rule 1.5 has been suspended in this thread. So it's not really a reason for this thread to be closed.

This thread was to solve the problem of Moderators who were abusing their powers prior to the creation of the thread. I dont think theres need for this thread anymore. Queen_Amanda bans was justified and Pang moving wasnt an abuse of his power, simply a misplaced common sense.
I, therefore, request the closing of this poisonous thread. | I would tend to agree that in my opinion this thread has served its purpose. All the moderators who I posted facts about are now no longer moderators with the exception of one.
I think it very unlikely that I will receive any sort of response from Pang and/or the other mystery moderator in my questions over the last few pages:

All the abuses also seem to have stopped with the exception of the mysterious disappearing threads (as above) and hopefully an admin or cepruyc will look into these too soon.
We will soon have a whole new batch of replacement moderators (together with the remaining ones who were never a part of these discussions), and they will be starting with a clean slate and also I hope clear instructions from the admins on how they are expected to perform their jobs.
Just remains for Sven's ill conceived rules to be deleted and all is good once more! (Those who remember the history will also remember that this thread was created partly because Kotrin also did what Sven now rules as illegal and which Arctic deemed an abuse of power).
These "new" rules have also been broken in a very large number of posts but as far as I can see only 3 people have been punished out of all the 100+ other posts which break them. Even if the rules made sense it would still be unfair to punish some and not others.

- Did he not say right at the start of post #1 Multiple cases of Moderators abusing their powers brought to my attention?
- Did Sven not then make a post in GGF forum repeating HIS "new" rules?
- Which part of my statement (in the context it was made), do you consider a lie?
It would be interesting to know your opinion as to why you think this thread was created.

What concerns did she raise. I must have missed this too and it is a long thread to read through?

- I have seen accusation here of this and am sure many people would be interested to know what these are. The only two examples I have seen though were for people who broke the rules as defined by the admins. As has been asked previously, if you are going to make accusation then please explain what they are as I and others have done with all the accusations we have made.
- Hopefully now with admins renewed interest in our server reports to secretary will once more be acted upon. Surely with this development this is once more a "valid way of reporting mods" for people who feel they have had a bad decision made about themselves? These of course though will need to be made by the people involved in these decisions or do you think everyone should do it? | DiN, I think Kotrin is talking about Queen_Amanda excessing ban. While I would like her to also explain why she gave 2 months ban (curiosity) I have to say that this thread is completely ill to the community.

Both post the same exact day with a ~40 seconds interval which reduce the ban history to a possible limit of 1.

Since the Amanda post is first, I can easily say that Cooum have never been banned prior to Queen_Amanda's 2 months ban.
How Queen_Amanda can explain a 2 months ban with such a short history is beyond my imagination. But I would say that is abusing her powers in giving excessive ban.
A warning or a 15 minutes to 1 day ban would have been much more appropriate, but definitly not 2 months ban.
And I wonder why no one has lift the ban yet, are the other mods are judging this 'normal' ? Are we gonna see this kind of month ban nowadays ? |
