Already read that. But that still isn't very clear. And I thought I saw replacement phantoms created before. Was this spell ever changed?
Also does anyone know anything about the placement of the phantoms? |
For the placements, it's not random.
The pattern is has follow, assuming 0 is the original stack.
I'm not sure of the order. You should do a few trials/watch replays to get the right one.

Phantom stack will appear in position 1.
If not avaible, than position 2.
If 1&2 are blocked, than 3, etc... |
Thank you. As far as I can tell so far the sequence does seem correct. I also found out that if all sides are blocked off, then you can use phantom on that stack. |

hi all.
knights at level 8-9 are overpowered true?
with their 99 xbows and 10 monks with no meelee penalty its tough.
any strategy to beat them? ive been beating every single demon, de, wiz, barb i meet in level 9, but knights are tough.
i tried conventional strategy (all skels in one stack behind liches) but they simply died when the xbows shot 700 damage in one move. then i tried spliting them into 4 stacks and vamps and ghosts attacking xbows, but the griffs blocked my skels and the monks meelee +xbow were too strong for my vamps |
Any tips for thieveing at level 6? I'm might built and without infected zombies. |
for DarkSooth: Max bowmen, protect them with ghosts (use their misses) .. then vamps, ghosts and zombies .. also u need +3 lucks for Group battles and Ambushes |

also, ive just lost my first duel with a DE- it was 9 ap, i had 3 luck. and then as usual stupid luck didnt move for the first 7 moves( the beginning moves are the most crucial) until my vamps were dead and then only i started to have luck- with 4 ghosts, 1 ghosts, 20 skels etc.. 3 luck was totally useless. then after that, another good 7 moves no luck and then suddenly 1 luck- pretty useless and irritating- just one more luck in the beginning would have changed the whole game in my favor. guess sometimes thats the risk you have to take when you wear 3 luck. 50% of time for me it works. 50% of the time its totally useless- no difference from 1 luck :( |

it seems that the gated creatures all swarm the liches and kill them faster then i can raise to block bowmen and then my bowmen become useless. not to mention my luck didnt even appear once? |
The way you place your troops are correct, but when the gate creatures come out, dun care about them,just hit the hell horse and i saw you keep using the ghost 1 to take thr retal of hell horse but it is useless, you should put ghost 1 around your lich.Hell horses is a large creature so it must kill all the ghost 1 b4 it can hit the lich...at that time you kill the wolfhound by shooting them by skeletal bows.Split your skeleton bows so it becomes skeletal bows 100+ and skeletal bow 1, use that skeletal bow 1 to shoot succubi,make her reutrn fire...So she already waste 1 of her shots,and vampire keep hitting hell horses,you must keep their numbers high because lich can only shoot and ghost hp are low.
