Is it better to have 101 wardens and 48 brutes for Thieves at level 9 or is it better to have 135 brutes,6 wardens,and 45 swordsmen? I know that for PvP thieves that crossbowmen can really benefit you if you can block their bowmen ,but PvP's don't happen as rarely as caravans do.
I'd say MAX swords/grifs, some 115 brutes and whats left over (20 - 30) wardens for bait.
In caravans you have to divide you're wardens in 2 stacks placing them both in a corner. This way the enemy targets them while you can get you're army together and counter without being shot first. |

| @4851 , Have maximum swords and then bowmen and then farmers.. Try to divide farmers into 1 farmer in each stack and if you have any slots left then take one swordsman and put him there or you can divide your bowmen into two stacks equally,.. totally depends on your playstyle. |

max swordsmen if you were talking on PvP. troop settle refer to 4854th post.
in hunt, you have different setup. in range hunt, max swordsmen just like pvp.
in melee hunt, max bowmen, split multiple farmer/swordsmen to surrounded bowmen at corner. |
