Hi.
At my level I get the option of recruiting 2 gargoyles! But I do not recruit them so i get extra split for magi making their punches more damage dealing.
Is this a mistake? Should I keep the gargs for retal? |
No its not a mistake. Leave out the gargoyles at lv6-7, at this level (in my opinion) you'll still mainly be dealing damage with magi and hero. Golems are for survival and/or finishing remaining army. And your main troops would be wreckers, if correctly predicted you'll end the battle even before your enemies reaches you. Thats how i do it anyways.. |
yup |
what talnts should i use against:-
1. might
2. magic
3. hybrid |
for Dbest:
I don't have much experience with battlewise wizard, but as far as I've seen, these is how works with chaos builds:
->Grems are used to place traps (good damage, ignore defence, extra magic damage).
->Grostoques are used mainly to take retal or for the aura (or not used at all).
->Golems are the meat of the bw, the troop that won't die too fast, making it possible to keep casting spells. Sometimes, players even cast on them to resurrect them, using the lode-coated ability. Against other chaos opponents, they are good attackers.
->Battlemagi is a very nice shooter. His ability through shot makes it very powerful as well. Usually, punch is only good if the creature is blocked, or the enemy has very high defence. Dispersion can be useful sometimes, but his main function remains shooter (usually, this creature doesn't last much turns)
->The genie is pretty versatile, can be used to cast spells, or used to attack. It depends much in the situation. It is the strongest bw meele troop.
->Sphynx is a troop for the diverse uses. It is slow and has average low speed, which is his draw back. It is strong and has no retal ability, which compensates a bit his weakness. The upgraded version is awesome, though.
Chaos bw seems more interesting to play in a defensive way than in a rushing one. But bw is really a box of surprise, especially with luck. It may be killer or not deal much damage, depending the case. Again, that is only my point of view =) |
for K5isback:
At level 7, advanced fortune, battle fury, mana recovery or rally looks pretty good against the three types. I'd choose either mana recovery or rally, but then depends in what you feel more comfortable with :)
Sorry for the double post. |
any tips or advice i can get |
Well Kjones, at lvl 3 there really isn't much advice that can be given as recruitment are usually "standard", talents are not yet available, etc. Though its best to just continue with hunts till u get lvl 5 since prior to lvl 5, no AP are required and its best to increase wizard FSP at low levels since its really beneficial at MG's due to its faction bonus (which is what you're doing right now). So all said and done, the real advice is keep up whatever youre doing :) |
Any good set i should invest in considering i plan to be a wizard for next few levels? |
are gremlin engineers worth the cost |
are gremlin engineers worth the cost
At lv5 yes, but not more so as to gremlin engineers but rather their alternate form, gremlin wreckers (from playing Battlewise wizard). Though you can change your class starting from lv5. But yeah it would be wise to start saving for them. They're worth every penny. |
what if u have no intetion of bbeing battlewise wizard |
A classic wiz would usually depend on hero's magic and occasionally other troops i.e. golems and magi's Though gremlin engineers can repair golems I dont think so they'll be a good option since they are easily killed in the first couple of rounds and usually your golem or gargoyles would last till the end. No point repairing anyone if themselves are dead. |

what do you mean by good set ? |
any set that suits magic wizard... Not too expensive, ready to spend upto 100k |
so at lv 5 what should a normal wiz mini arts set up should be |
for K5isback:
You want a set to battle in which type of battles? Imo, a full set (shop arts) is enough for most of battles. And in the case a event FFA comes, renting might be a better option, as you just spend while using the art (if you own one, you will have some part of your gold "frozen" for a good amount of time).
for Kjones:
This is what I used:
Gargs: +def +hp
Golems: +def +hp
Magi: +ini +morale |
For magi: +ini +hp is better IMO
they can survive if druids cast lightning , or from strike of hero |
