The roulette addict can afford it, if he s low on gold someone will lend it to him. :P |

Yeah stopped caring about that :P |
Anyways its just 4 straight ups :P |

lol, and how many bets do you think is realistic to achieve "just 4 straight ups"? |

38^4=2085136 attempts, when 1 attempt is between 1 and 4 bets, will give 1-1/e, or about 63.2% probability of success :P |
In all fairness though, that is if he wants to win 4 in a row. Winning 4 in the span of 12 hours for example, is fairly realistic, but then again, he will need a million capital to be able to bet for 72 spins, and might risk losing all of it. |
Getting 4 straight ups in 72 spins still would have only ~8% chance... not so sure if that should make you comfortable. Not to mention, he will need a million capital to be able to bet for 72 spins and 4 straight ups only give about 2 million for his level. |

How do you figure this? |
I just need 4 bets where I know which number is going to land.. It's that simple xD |
I have seen people with different trick although
One guy has huge profit and all he does is bet on numbers 0 after 00, 21 after 12 and a few more combinations..
But such trick requires high activity |
How do you figure this?
Every roulette addict has their own maths to justify why they should keep betting. No point questioning them on it ;) That's why I firmly believe that every roll I have 100% success in hitting #21. If I know I'm going to get the number next time, why stop now? |
Hmm, Corey, If you really utilized math - in case of roulette at least - it is not something arbitrary that could serve to justify what is not workable. Again, for the roulette we have here, the very basic thing you will come to realize is that that for each attempt we have odds=/=rewards and due to this reason (not bad luck or whatever you may claim) over the long run, roulette will always end up with more than it gives.
well, I'm not a roulette addict so I'm not justifying betting. Its the opposite actually :)
for Meshy:
I calculated the probability for getting 4 hits among 72 trials irrespective of their order. The probability for each hit is 1/38 and since we have 72 trials, we will have 68 miss or fails and the probability of each fail is 37/38 assuming he will only go for straight ups in those 72 trials. If that assumption is true you can calculate the true probability. |
Roulette just requires patience.. If someone bets slowly he can make really good amount of profit :)
But well such slow profit is no fun :P
Big wins are then fun :D

If someone bets slowly, they can also lose a lot of hold. :P |
Gold** |
Yeah, but they will lose them slowly. :D |
Yeah but they should know when to stop :) |
