Sven91 just received a reply from admins, that he was evicted from being a head recruiter of Mod clan for "Insults in battles, threats of intended losing in combats."
Although I dont agree with what sven did, does ONE wrong move have to result in EVICTION?
But, I digress.
Admins will never answer "players".They are simply money-hungry. They donont even care enough to post on our forums..so my question will undoubtedly be un- answered.

There are many online translators available. They may not be perfect, but a simple post now and then would have sufficed. Still, I thanks you for posting. |

Do you know how hard it is to translate english -> russian and visa versa without making a hella ton of mistakes.
There are so many synonyms that literally using a translater doesnt work well. The only way to properly translate the languages without making errors is for someone who speaks both languages near fluently.
I got banned on RU chat for Foul/Sexual Language by translating a simple "legal" sentence using google translater.
I had to have arctic translate it for me so the person who recieved the messaged got the correct message and understood i wasnt being volgar. |
If that be the case, then I apologize.
Its just frustrating to know that admins exist but cant communicate. |

Hmm, should we get the new rule of :
- Moderators can't be part of any War Clans cause they arent players anymore ?
- Being staff dept. cannot be seen as unbiased if you are part of a War Clans ?
- Any players being part of a War Clans cannot hold his own point of view and opinions ?
I really try to believe and hope that the 3 questions I just asked result in a 'No' answers. Else we have a serious problems and I would suggest all Mods, Staff Dept. to leave their current War Clans like I did. That could actually leave some more space to Mods to act in behalf of the game and not favoritism, at least seen by others this way. |
#432 - I asked this exact question of Arctic when I was offered a position as "Juries".
As he told me then it was not relevant what clans people belonged to as just by leaving would not change who their friends were etc.
Official positions are in the main help by mature and responsible people who are very capable of making unbiased and correct decisions on each case regardless of who it is about. If they are not able to do so then they should not hold such a position.
From a personal viewpoint (as a Juries member) I have not and would not show any favouritism to someone because they shared a clan with me or were a friend. If I find someone cheating them I would treat them exactly the same regardless of who they were.
I can also make it very clear in posts if I am posting my personal opinions or if I am posting an official response to a complaint. If my personal opinion is different from the rules and/or admins opinions then any official decisions would be made following the admins rulings and not what I may or may not want. |
You position is very different then a mod, sorry to say it DiN but as Juries you do NOT take any final decision so you cannot be seen as biased.
As a moderators you can be sure that ALL your decisions will be judged and yes other players will say you are 'more or less' targetting a single clans, especially if you are in an opposed one. Thats where the problem lies and thats why I have asked these questions.
I dont doubt about Mods being mature or not, I doubt about the community's ability to use common sense and justice in their opinions. I doubt about community's ability to understand all the little difference their could be between some offenses not being dealt with the same way and ability to see that it is not cause of 'Clan based' decisions.
I'm tired of seeing this petty, silly war of words about clans being targetted more then the others or specific players being more targetted as well. Even if you say that you ask your fellow Mods commorade in your clan, I tend to disagree that it is possible for them to do their job correctly as being judge by their clan affiliations to the public eyes. |
#434 - Once again, from personal opinion/observation there are plenty of moderators who do a great job in a very fair manner (i.e. Pantheon(WGW), Straws(EW), Omega22(EW), Queen_Amanda(LoS), etc) and in a more senior position Arctic(WGW). I see all these moderators act in a very unbiased manner and do their jobs as they are meant to be done. That is they apply the rules as defined by the admins without any thought to who they are dealing with or what clans they are in.
I have also seen chat & forum moderators who are not in clans act in a very unprofessional manner.
It is the person involveds personal integrity which is important and not their clan membership. |

In my last post I have said that : I dont doubt moderators doing their work correctly. I doubt the community's ability to see them doing correctly in an unbiased manner.
I really now wonder if you read people's post or you just go in babling the same sentence over and over again. God, read. |

As to the content of your posts, I felt they were very clear and tried to make my direct response to you just as clear. I hope a managed this and just because my opinion differs from yours does not make either of us right or wrong. |
