Nice event in terms of rewards and interesting in terms of army. I could likely have got a slightly better score towards the end, by copying examples and changing army, though couldn't be bothered with that, it was taking time and focus that I do not have. I kind of liked having the one army and trying to make it work for most situations, which inevitably will not work with all.

| I don't see much fun in fluctuating unit costs on the market, if they generally don't change for days and days. Creatures had mostly steady trends. So I was just picking the cheap ones and that was it. I simply can't see to what end was this element introduced. |
| for Lord Mora: was made to punish waiters, as everyone grabs popular units and they rise in price so waiters get less units for same silver. i just went cheapest units. i played gnolls+bless with outriders and cleared all but 7 levels on max difficulty. i then sold gnolls and played double lizards/ double nomads etc to win the 7 that gnolls couldnt win. |
| I played mostly on easy level, only to return to hard battles later, when stronger. So maybe my perception isn't realistic. But as a waiter, I had available cheap lizards which proved to be the mainstay of my army. They only get stronger with the numbers. Together with reasonable priced heretics and a sprinkle of shamans I felt I had a great combo all through the event. And I clearly remember that I played in a similar fashion during last event which was like this. I didn't had feeling that I was punished fo being a waiter. |
