Thanks. I was hoping for lvl 1s to rise up to my art durability at least. |
Why????
Look at the following two battles. We are of the same CL (20) and at the same level (14-3) of the event. But my enemy is more than 50% stronger!!! https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?lt=-1&warid=1395515858&html5=1

I can manage all other troop setups except the Dragonlings one.
If I get those, it's near impossible so I started to skip those. |
Because you haven't played the classic wiz throughout the whole event, so your enemies strength coefficient is much more different than the other guy. |
So do you mean that the more you use a faction the easier opponent you will get? Basically it discourages you from jumping around the factions in these battles? |
Most faction with strong archer and can use magic but i think knight, holy knight, elf are good with this event. DE pilling lose :( i regret jut notice that now |
But I'm 99% lose against huge stack of spell caster.. |
Always skip part 3 with dragon, spell Caster and ghost. Scarry |
Even without spell caster, dragon or ghost, some levels are just crazy.. hero having same stat as yours + 5x army sizes + 10k hp tent... |
When I saw the event details I thought, ah this is not too bad, it says a max of 105 wins, that is not super crazy. Little did I realise that to get 105 wins, you will likely go through multiple battles, with several different army changes etc to grind out your 3rd level win. Not sure if I am getting diminishing returns for the effort. I can very well see myself in the position where the effort I have put in to beat the level 3 for the first 10 will be undone by lack of time at the end such that I have to just skip the level 3's in order to finish it.
Still, at least for those that I have done there has been some enjoyable thought into how to beat them. Shame there is no favoured enemy on neutral battles, elves while still good, did not carve there way through them quite as much as I expected, had to rely on sprites running around at the end. |
This is the second time this event has been presented, but it's poorly balanced and overall too raw. I don't know why game designers or administration don't test it properly first. Who needs that rush? It's the worst event I've seen in this game so far. There is no pleasure or interest in playing this kind of event. Such a disappoint. |
for TarasLord:
This is way better than the last PoT event.
By the way I've seen players playing with single faction doing better in this event than switching among factions, is there a way to confirm this? |
you can switch factions? o.O
nevertheless, I enjoy this event quite a lot now. Decided to skip 3rd battles (unless I clearly see I can beat them) and have no trauma. Of course, I do not aim to get good rank, but I don't feel I am losing much gold in the process. |
For NO--NAME - If some players have only one castle, or if they've just started playing, or let's imagine for a moment that I wanted to play only for this faction and no others, with no desire to switch between them, then I should have an option to do so. However, instead, I'm receiving messages indicating that some factions face almost no problems, while others have to put in a huge effort to win a single battle. Let me share my experience with this event. Initially, I wanted to play as the Dark Elf faction exclusively. However, it eventually became impossible to win against opponents. I tried different factions to have at least some chance, but it remained very challenging. I don't enjoy fights that seem unwinnable; it feels like low-quality gaming content to me. I don't want to invest my time and gold in such frustrating experiences. At the very least, I'd like to be aware that some fights can't be won. If one fight is unwinnable, then others should be able to win. However, for some levels, I found both options unbelievably hard. So, it seems like this event was tested on us, as the generation of opponents still appears unbalanced. |
no favoured enemy on neutral battles
I have seen favored enemy trigger on neutral enemies both with and without hero. The info doesn't mention list of favored enemies like it does in hunts though.
Couldn't find an example for anyone other than oasis guard.

Not sure if oasis guards are the only favored neutral enemy. |
I have a mixed feeling about this event.
On one hand, I like the way that you have to use various strategies/factions to beat different enemies. I actually used PoS the first time ever in this game because it appears necessary in this event. The level 1 and 2 enemies are generally doable with proper configuration of your army.
On the other hand, the level 3 battles are really painful and some are simply impossible. And because everyone has different battles, it takes too much time to find one that is sort of similar to yours, or many times you can't even find such an example and have to try it on your own. The worst part is that you don't have the option of skipping it for now and coming back to try it later. I probably have spent 80% of my time on those level 3 battles. It significantly slows down my pace in this event. I can see many top players also have difficulty completing (not beating) all the battles. For example, you are supposed to fight to stage 25 on day 5 but most people are still below stage 20 at the end of day 5. This event's design is surely problematic in this way. |
Lost another winning battle due to this "combat fatigue" sh*t!
https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?warid=1396153254 |
I started to support combat fatigue and realised it makes sense after I saw Another Player's post on the portal of time thread. It says
Because it means everyone else who wants to do well in the event also has to fight four hours to defeat 20k zombies with one shrew.
I just hate the uncertainty in the difficulty level, but it's OK. |
Combat vatgue and creatures that gradually can move more far and faster, i hate that all |
Today felt easier than the others. Finished 102/105. |
